There is no greater joy than being where God has called you to be. Serving in student ministry gave me a front row seat to the Lord at work. I went into this summer hoping to pour into others, but Jesus filled me up more than I could have ever imagined. So thankful for the people I was surrounded by, the memories, and a God who let me be a small part of what he’s doing. TYJ✝️🤍

spice,
thank you for providing the most loving and welcoming environment i have ever been a part of. i know it took a while to come out of my shell three years ago, but you all have allowed me to be comfortable being myself and have helped me grow as a person in ways i didn’t think were possible. this year was especially hard for me with a lot of mental health challenges, but when i was at the lowest points of my life, playing with all of you always brought a smile to my face. no matter how anxious or sad i felt, no matter how tired school made me, no matter how much or little food i ate that day, no matter how i felt about myself, coming to practice with you three times a week has always made me feel so much better about myself and about life.

i am so incredibly proud of all of you and i am proud to be your teammate. thank you for the best 3 years of my life. thank you Ramon, Beaky, and Jess for believing in me, supporting me through injuries, and having my back; you are truly inspiring to me and i hope to coach my team someday the way you coached me. thank you also to Coach Damien for getting me started with the spice program.

finally, thank you to my teammates for being my friends as well as my family. to my seniors: we may be all across the country soon, but I will have your back wherever you are and whatever you are going through. to my juniors (and sophomore): keep believing in yourselves and continue to make this team the special place that it is. you’re going to be amazing next year, and this fall won’t be the same not having you all by my side. remember i’m only a call away ❤️ #saverowan
