sora.kash, True self - True self’ is the wonder of self image, it is the wonder of what a person is now, as opposed to what he or she becomes without a purpose of self. There is no foundation, it’s like the body is stepping away from its shadow, it is like peering in the mirror with eyes closed, I would touch my face and draw my portrait with my fingers, stripping the impurities of my portrait covered in paint and debris and in stillness wonder why the material is heavy on the head.

Wow! We have been asking our artists to send over a video of them talking about their designs recently. Check ‘True Self’ out by @sora.kash

We are blown away by the artwork, narrative and of course the amazing video to go with it. Kash’s design is now available to buy as an art print on our website.

Check out these works by Kashief Hibbert @sora.kash !

“Chasm of renting and Cleaner city both relate to the capitalist theme by depicting the astonishing scale of the housing prices for renters in London. It is revealed in people struggling to afford rent - especially the younger generation - who spend more than 30% of their wage on rent. It has become a cutthroat competition between landlords.“

"I did this collage as a task in isolation whilst watching Jaws - I was looking to capture the films theme of capitalist ideology in my own art piece. Waltham Forest is an inspiring area with amazing eateries and spaces in which I've had many a great adventure, and I'm excited by the new artistic vibe and opportunities for its budding art scene." ⠀

Once again we send a heartfelt thanks to the amazing E4 community who have outdone themselves in these uncertain times by inundating us with their beautiful artworks! ⠀⠀
⠀⠀
🖼 A selection of these will be going up this week on our window gallery at 1 Bank Buildings, The Avenue, E4 9LE. All other works we are proud to showcase here as an online exhibition over the next few months. ⠀⠀
⠀⠀
🅔❹ Please share this as much as possible, we've always believed in the power of art and design for it's connectivity and making everything feel just that little bit better.⠀⠀
⠀⠀
Enjoy!⠀⠀
