There’s nothing like the Hot Takes Crew! We are immensely grateful for all of the hard work of our team and we loved having a great adventure together out in the desert! Your talent, dedication and joy you bring to set has made lasting memories 🤗 “Dancin’ with the Devil” had the largest crew yet and we can’t wait to share what we accomplished on this one!

A Dark and Stormy Knight ⚔️

Once upon a time,
there lived an evil queen who ruled the land through chaos and destruction. For centuries. her dark reign fear across every kingdom. But as the years wore on, the queen found that destruction no longer brought her joy; and she no longer knew how to live without it.
Half a Century passed, and in her long silence, the world began to heal and flourished under one rule:

Never Disturb the Queen…

Then came a princess who disturbed the Evil Queen, seeking friendship instead of battle. Now, the princess often calls to gossip and share her latest adventures, and of the Prince she has fallen for. The Queen, though extremely annoyed, is too tired to cast any curses, and simply listens.

This project has been a long time coming,
I’ve been working on this project during my spare time in between looking for work and doing freelance. Went through a lot of hurdles losing work, motivation, and even just wanting to give up when the file got corrupted when my pc died. But with the help and encouragement from some friends, it’s done and ready to show!

Thank you @sostington for editing and @__007 for the musical lyrics!

Hey guys I’m Jackson Sost, the editor on Tormentors! My artistic journey started relatively recently after getting out of the army. I got really interested in animation and editing after watching Rick and Morty for the first time. I’ve been so fortunate to work as an assistant editor in the animation industry for the past 5 years!

I’m actually not a horror fan. at all. anytime I’m subjected to a horror movie with friends, they all sit far away from me. This is due to the fact that I jump and grab the closest body at every scare, especially in hereditary and smile. TLDR favorite horror film is Coraline

I’m working on the film because I love working with my best friends! We collaborated on the pookie & peanut short film and wanted to keep making stuff together! I’m also hoping that editing a horror film will help me realize that they’re just movies, and then I won’t be scared anymore. 🙇‍♂️

My biggest projects would be Rick and Morty (season 6), the Smurfs movie (rihanna is smurfette), and the Lunar Chronicles animated feature. I’m currently working as a 2nd assistant editor on another animated feature that will be out in a couple years!
