making big plans on the first day of fall

PHHP combination degrees let students earn two degrees on a streamlined path while saving time and money and building expertise across disciplines. No matter what you’re doing this fall, adding a combo degree to your portfolio is a smart investment in the future. Check out the link in our stories to learn more. A white sheet with "Fall Activities Based on Combination Degrees" written on it is displayed. Below, a banner says "UF College of Public Health and Health Professions." The scene includes a person holding an orange leaf, a small table with apples, and a basket of pumpkins, all set outdoors.

we had a ball at Fall for All

Thank you to everyone who attended this year's event! We hope you learned something, found a useful resource and got a selfie with Albert and Alberta. 🐊 A student stands smiling next to the University of Florida's mascot, Albert the Alligator, who is wearing an orange shirt and a cap. The person is holding a small pumpkin. They are outdoors in a courtyard setting with people at a table in the background.

what OT students see when they close their eyes 👁️ 👄 👁️

Thank you to the @ufcels team for bringing their child mannequin to the Occupational Therapy Pediatric Rehab course! As part of a module on social-emotional learning, Doctor of Occupational Therapy students interacted with the "patient" in a variety of role-play scenarios related to a boy with autism. This learning experience paves the way for these future OTs to engage kids during emotionally complex moments before entering clinical fieldwork. A medical training mannequin designed to resemble a child is seated in a chair. It is holding colorful toy gears. The mannequin is wearing a blue shirt with the word "CONSTRUCTION" visible, and shorts branded with "HAL." Nearby are tables and other equipment in a training environment.
