Starting with our co-owner Rima Rabbath @soukofrima_ , this is a look back at the international Jivamukti guest teachers we’ve had the pleasure of welcoming to YogaSouk. 🤍

Each brought their own voice, experience, and generosity to the teachings, giving our community opportunities to discover, question, and deepen their practice.

The years shown mark their first visits—but many came back, sometimes several times, becoming a familiar and much-loved part of life at the studio.

As we celebrate 10 years of Jivamukti at YogaSouk, we’re grateful for these teachers, the connections we’ve built, and everything we continue to learn from them.

10 years of YogaSouk. 🤍

Ten years of practice, teachers, students, friendships, chanting, laughter, transformation and a community that has continued to grow far beyond these walls.

For us, this anniversary is particularly special. YogaSouk is the home where Jivamukti Yoga was first introduced in Lebanon. From those first classes grew a community of teachers, students and spaces that continues to carry the teachings today.

So this October, Satsang comes home.

We’re bringing our monthly Jivamukti Satsang back to YogaSouk to celebrate 10 years of the place where so much of our story began.

Come chant, gather, reconnect, share stories and celebrate a decade of YogaSouk with us.

Thank you @jivamuktiyoga for bringing this - and all of us - together in the Eternal City. (Although yoga teaches us that nothing is forever… I know, I know.)
My journey with yoga has looked something like this: I came for the sweat, I stayed for the vibe. And this was a vibe indeed!
It was such a pleasure meeting you all again, or for the first time. Until we meet again. ❤️‍🔥

Rome for the @jivamuktiyoga Tribe Gathering. my first time teaching at this annual event - what an honor to teach alongside my mentors and be deeply immersed in the community.

Had some great runs in the city and lots of fun teaching w habibi brother @juanji_sierra .

Quality time with @marie_claussen and @soukofrima_ was nourishment for my heart. and to see my sister @eestherr - long missed Beirut connection. Some seeds were planted for the future and i keep practicing until they ripen.

@florian_maas captured me in some moments and i can see my mood was strictly bhav.

thank you to the fantastic organization team @karolinestraubinger @giannisarracino @la253 and those in the background doing the work.

thank you also @anninalingens @juggling_is_my_guru @rebecca.munro.yoga @theworld_walker & Marie for being our eyes and hands during the Inversion Workshop.

my extroverted side definitely could go all out. time to recharge my introvert self a little.

How you see anyone or any situation in your present life is due to your past karmas - how you have treated others, in your past. When the great saint Ramana Maharshi was asked, "How should we treat others?" he replied, in yogic fashion, "There are no others." Such enlightened yogis see others as their own enlightened Self. Others provide us a mirror in which to see ourselves.

The force of God, or what one may call the enlightenment principle or the power of unconditional love, comes through in many tangible forms - as gurus or teachers. Anyone can be our teacher. Our parents are the first. It's up to us to see the teacher in another person. Feeling gratitude for their presence in our lives is a powerful way to cultivate humility and bring us closer to Yoga - to enlightenment." - Padma ji from her book Eternity is Happening Now
