I could write an entire book about what Wakaan means to me and why, year after year, it’s the one festival I’ll ALWAYS find my way back to no matter what.. 🥹🩵

But I think one of the biggest reasons is the people. The beautiful souls that have found their way into my life at exactly the moments I needed them, even when I didn’t know it at the time. People I’ve met in different places, during different chapters of my life, who have become so incredibly special to me.

And once a year, this little mountain in Arkansas brings so many of those people back together. No matter how far apart life takes us or how much changes between then and now, for a few days we’re all right there again.. dancing under the same sky, making more memories with people I couldn’t imagine my life without.

There’s something so special about looking around and realizing just how much love you’ve found along the way. And how lucky you are to have found people who make a place feel so much like home.

Wakaan has given me so much more than music and memories. It’s given me people, connections, and little pieces of myself that I didn’t even know I was missing.

And for that, I’ll forever be thankful.

Until we’re all under the same sky again.. 👽🛸

About a year ago I got the courage to talk to this girl. After the first time we hung out we knew what we were in for. After the first date there were no questions. We got to experience what it is to fall in love with someone for all the right reasons, what it's like to trust someone with your entirety and what it means to truly connect on a spiritual level. I am so blessed to have a woman in my life that really brings the best out of me... I could not be happier about the fact that you said yes to marry me and I can't wait to spend the rest of forever with you. Super stoked to finally release this visual pack of original art in collaboration with my love @psyoptic

Working on the SpunBunni project over the last year has been the most healing and aligning time for me. I have always wanted to share my own flair with the community I love, and to see these works of art come to life in this way definitely hits that sweet spot.
