Do you know that the track in the background, aptly chosen by Darkside Ascension crew for promo, is 25 years young? Looks like I've been Psy-Techking already at the turn off the Millennium!!! What a blast🙏... So this Saturday in the City of Angels, Perfect Stranger 2hrs set in a Psy Techno dedicated event 🤙 ... And maybe some Shawarma action on the Sunday...?

Devastated to learn about the tragic passing of my good friend and @soulestialcarnival brother Mike Thomas (@mtvida72) and his pup Otto in a house fire yesterday. 😭

Mike was the most kind, loving, and generous guy I knew. He was my trail running partner, the lead of our yoga & spiritual practices at Soulestial, and a stand-up brother who was always there for his friends.

Going to miss you dearly, my friend. RIP.

Matthew Derham hails from the underground of Los Angeles and has been a curator behind the decks since 2000. Cofounder of MusicSavages. What started as a DJ collective, morphed into a Burning Man camp, a vibe, a way of life. He brought a bunch of weirdos together, connected by an auditory vein of tasteful music and a love not taking each other too seriously.

His mixing style spans across wide genres and can best be described as slow, dark and sleazy. It harnesses the groovy side of minimal and the sexy side of tech house with fluid, moving bass lines and soul from all angles. Matthew is a new transplant to Denver and is looking forward to sharing his love of dance music with the mountain community.
