After weeks of catching my breath and gathering my thoughts, I can share the news of @soulshockdance retiring. We lost Antoine 5 years ago and Ambur asked me to step in and help lead @soulshockdance. I never imagined myself being a dance teacher or a studio director and never could I have even fathomed the way this whole experience would change my life. Guiding and connecting with these kids has completely cracked my heart wide open. It has healed me in ways I could have never done on my own. I’ve become a more vulnerable person, a more confident choreographer, and have connections I know will last a lifetime. It has everything to do with the family Antoine and Ambur created 14 years ago and I’m so grateful to have been a part of it. I’m so proud of every child that walked through those doors after something so devastating and continued to give it their all and went through the grieving process together. I’m so proud of every child who came after to help us continue and became a part of continuing his legacy. I hope we’ve continued his legacy in a way he would be proud of. We all of an unbreakable bond and we really are forever family. I know what comes next for all of us is something special and I know he’s always with us. The Soul Shock legacy lives in us all. @ambreezy03 your heart of gold is the foundation of this company and I’m so grateful for your trust and sisterhood. Thank you to every studio that has been supportive to us throughout this journey. Thank you to every friend that I’ve brought into this space who poured into them and loved them like their own. Thank you to all the parents who trusted me with your kid. Thank you to all the dancers that came through those doors and let me guide you. Your trust is something I cherish and I’m forever grateful for the countless hours of magic we shared in that space. I love you all so much. One love one love! 💛🕊️

i’m still not ready for it to be over. where do I even start, 13 years ago I joined a studio that became my second home. this place will always be so special to me. I will forever be grateful for every single person that was apart of this legacy. You all are sisters to me and I will always be there to support you no matter what, being your biggest cheerleader.
To Ambur and Hailey, you both have been there for me through my ups and downs. I am so incredibly grateful for everything you both have done for me and this team. thank you for supporting me through everything. @ambreezy03 from day 1 you have always been a second mom to me. You have been my biggest cheerleader through it all. Thank you for believing in me and to always keep looking on the bright side of things. Your hugs and contagious laugh will forever put a smile on my face. We need to go on a drive sometime;) @hailey_ho thank you for being by my side to support me on whatever I want to achieve. You have pushed me to be the best version of me. Getting to learn from you for the last 5 years has been so special. You always have my best interest at heart. You both are such big role models to me. It’s going to be hard not seeing you both everyday, but you know I will always keep you updated:) i love you both more than you know.
