The picture lock of @robertamaddalenabireau 's shortfilm is done. A lot of thought and excecution of the sound design and music has already been done by her.

@apogamism at @soundaroundstudio is looking to implement and refine some ideas as well deliver a stereo and 5.1 mix for the festival run!

❤️✨Last Friday we held our very first screening.✨❤️

What originally started as a small team gathering became something a little more special after the Berlinale, where we had the chance to meet inspiring filmmakers and producers from the US, the UK and Germany — some of whom joined us for the evening.

Despite this, the screening remained intimate, honest and incredibly warm.

For us at Pro.Act.Pro, it was a truly memorable night.
Sharing the three short films we recently completed with such wonderful people meant a lot to us.

We’re deeply grateful for the honest and positive feedback we received from filmmakers, actors and other industry professionals — not only for the films themselves, but also for the work and passion of everyone involved.

It was especially beautiful to hear how much the performances of the actors across all three films were appreciated.

A special thank you to @swabiano, who came all the way from Stuttgart to play live before the screening, including an unplugged version of “Gray Ghost” from our film “Die Schatten von Ciudad Juárez.” Also very spontanous @alefcinepictures 🫶🏻 just amazing!

And of course to our photographer for the evening, @thomassobotzki_shootings, for capturing these moments. 🫶🏻🙏🏻

A very special night for all of us. Thank you so much!

Surround gain made simple.

We are creating a plugin to quickly adjust rear speaker volume, a feature that is not always straightforward in your DAW.

Planned VST3, AAX and AU support.

Built by sound mixers, for sound mixers. Follow @soundaroundstudio for updates!

We always prefer good location sound, but it's not always possible.

This was not a simple task, nor is the result perfect.

I find it impressive how far we can come with trial and error of modern audio software, but bear in mind that time is money, and an edit like this is not done without work and the tools of an experienced post team.

Share if you find it interesting, but please be responsible.

Much love!

Wine Plum, a medium length film shot in Vietnam

After a month of remote work on the film of the talented director @nano.ngtran it's exciting to finally be back in the @soundaroundstudio

Its a very atmospheric film with beautiful pictures and an almost constant heavy rain.

Until now it has been edited completely on headphones on a very minimal setup.

Now its time to:
- Listen on speakers
- Add surround atmos
- Creative sound design.

Keep an eye on her work, I think we will see more in the future!
