The BEST city 🍎🗽🚕🍂🍕

I was fortunate to get to visit with some of my college besties AND meet up with some of the fam on this trip to the big apple 💞

It was soooo cool to be a tourist with the boys, checking out Lady Liberty, introducing them to subway rides & cheap NYC pizza, and walking Times Square + Central Park…And then hit up some hot spots with my girls. I am so grateful and incredibly blessed. 🙏✨ Ohh AND I got to visit my fave studio @souk.studio for yoga + a sound meditation! Thanks Monica and George for sharing your gifts 💝

The city feels a bit like home to me. When I walk the streets it feels familiar (even when I get lost and especially when I miss my train 😝). It’s a really special place and there’s truly no where like it that I’ve ever experienced. Grateful I got to share it with some of my fave people 🫶

Where’s your fave place to go when you visit the city?!

Our signature four month virtual training is Wellwell underway, and last night we had our first master class with George McPherson.

George has been teaching a version of this class since Bowl Club started, and he is truly a treasure.

Check him out @soundofthetimes 🔥

Traded the city for a farm in Connecticut for the day, and I’m still buzzing. 🐝

Movement led by me.
Sound by my friend and teammate @georgewmacpherson.
Delicious food by @charlesraben.
And lots of bee love/education from @katehinkens.

It was a day rooted in presence and connection.
Supposedly, beekeepers live 10 years longer. I like to think yesterday bought us an extra day or two. 🤍✨

Thank you to everyone who made this day so special:
Host: @burrhallfarm
Program: @sageandsound
Movement: @alexsilverfagan (me!)
Sound experience: @soundofthetimes
Lunch: @charlesraben
Ice cream: @littlerat.icecream
Bee talk: @katehinkens

When’s the last time you let yourself slow all the way down?

Playing the bowls is one part of guiding sound meditation. There’s also the language you use, the choices you offer, the way you prepare + how you show up for the people in the room.

This is a little look inside Bowl Club: real moments from our live sessions with the teachers who help us understand the instruments, the science, the practice + the responsibility of holding a room.

We love getting to learn alongside people who care this much. People who bring their own histories, questions, humor + creativity into the work. There’s a lot to study, and there’s also room to play, try something, ask for feedback + be new.

We care about how you play. We care about how you show up.

So many of the tools and practices we need to shift our inner state are already within us. Spaces such as @sageandsound are powerful containers for healing. 🤍

Yesterday I had the pleasure to sit in a breath & sound class guided by @georgewmacpherson @soundofthetimes - which helped me to go within and recognize patterns of fear that I have been unconsciously carrying around my body. Bringing them to light is the first step towards moving through it.

Thank you for your work. ✨ #healing #wellness #soundhealer #breathwork #wellnessblogger
