“THE CHANGE” out now everywhere!! prod. by @uncle.kizzy and keys sample from @madkeys_ ! They did their thinggg on this track! 📝⬇️

I had been going through a lot of milestones in life and really wanted to capture the calm reflection of gratitudes I’ve been experiencing along the way! Seeing how these moments carried into the next and began shaping me as a person was something that couldn’t be taken for granted. This song helped me put to words and vibes how reflecting on these moments made me feel! As soon as I heard Kai’s flip on this track, I knew I had to write about it! I hit him up the rest was magic! ✨💍📞

@thisismoonchild “Starfruit” was the first full length album we collaborated on and mixing these songs for @amber.jeanne @andrismattson and @maxbryk was a a beautiful ride with awesomely talented and awesomely kind musicians of the highest caliber.

I’m so glad the @grammys recognized this album with a nomination for Best Progressive R&B album at the 2022 Grammy Awards.

The collaborators @lalahhathaway @lovealexisley @illcamille @tankandthebangas @mumufresh @chantaecann @joshuaajohn slayed it unsurprisingly.

We’ve completed two more projects since and here are fingers crossed for a recognition for their latest effort “Waves”

My scat solo in my song “Figure it Out” ✨🎤✨

My favorite part of playing live is the spontaneity of new moments! There are intentional places in the set where we haven’t planned what will happen and everytime something new comes from it! I’m so lucky to play with musicians that are willing to take risks and let new ideas drive the performance!

Pretty sure @ninaannnelson and I have forgotten how to use actual words at this point. 😂🗣️

Having her join me on stage for Folded by @kehlani was such a vibe ✨ We couldn’t resist floating into some improvised scatting at the end! That’s always where the magic happens. 🗣️🎸

1 2 3 4!! 💥 The start to this set was electric!! ⚡️

@daviderinle and I have been talking about live music a lot, specifically how to begin a set! I figured it’d be important to have a start to the set that’s more than just starting a song! Since my friend @noahpierre732 was in town, I thought it was fitting to start the show with a rippingggg guitar solo 🎸💥 also, you can’t go wrong with starting on Folded by @kehlani !
