This week’s episode we have Psychedelic Disco Punk Queen, Ellie aka Patsy Skeet! 🦄💕 Ellie is the creator of Thunder Horse Studio🎠, a bold, rebellious art haus where creativity knows no bounds and individuality is the mission. 💪
She is also the creator of the Patsy Skeet Experience, an immersive, silly camp ritualistic experience. 🪩
Ellie and I met in Bali in 2025 and spent a bit of time getting to know each other over the course of a week. In this conversation I find out more about her journey into the arts and how she came to be doing so many creative things.. ✨

A little throwback to exploring the Ableton Move and geeking out over new sounds at Sounds Different. Special thanks to Emma, as always. 🙏

A few months ago I had the soul-filling experience of going on an artists retreat for a week in Bali ✨, which completely filled me with joy for the year ahead 🥰 I am so grateful to @soundsdifferent_org for the replenishing experience, and am just loving music so much rn 💕

Currently obsessed with making music which reflects internal landscapes. Working on opening my throat chakra, using my voice, a process of writing poetry, lyrics, making noises with my own instrument. An instrument which needs no plug ins, for I have everything already installed. Snapshot of me @aya_studios recording some vocal samples at @soundsdifferent_org last year. Captured by @alexbrunton 🔥

🔥Currently inspired and making music daily. Channelling some deep experiences into sounds, as a cathartic kind of healing. Being able to do this, is helping me understand and unpack feelings that are deep buried beneath, giving them permission to surface. Huge thank you to everyone that supported me to attend @soundsdifferent_org last year. Being able to sit at my laptop and use Ableton production tools with ease now is fucking blowing my mind..... I am so happy and proud to have gotten to this point. I will never disregard Garage Band, as without that, Cosmik Diskotek would never have come into fruition. Seeing tangible growth and learning in a creative practice is so epic and humbling, and when I thought it would never translate in my brain (4 years of being scared to even fathom that my brain would maybe not even ever accept another software) I am so excited to get to this milestone.
