The Blog Era gave us some of the most memorable production and songs in Rap History. Plain Pat helped shape Cudi’s sound and pushed the envelope into a new territory before people knew his name. Sounwave became Kendrick’s go to and produced the sonic soundscapes of some of the most acclaimed albums of the 2010s. Lex Luger basically invented the trap blueprint that every producer since has borrowed from, whether they admit it or not.

Chuck Inglish came up as one half of The Cool Kids before turning into one of the most respected producers in the game. Ski Beatz worked with Cam and the Diplomats before linking with Jay Z for Reasonable Doubt, then kept his run going with Curren$y and DZA for over a decade straight. Clams Casino created the cloud rap sound that A$AP Rocky, Lil B, Purrp, Kray, Yung Lean and Bladee all built moments around. producers are still chasing that same wave today.

Chase N. Cash stacked placements with Dom K, K Dot after becoming one of the most stellar collaborators in Drake’s catalog. Cardo’s work speaks for itself but the man behind so many Wiz classics now is one of the biggest Prods in the world. Johnny Juliano also crafted brilliant sounds with Taylor Gang, and went on to work with Kendrick, Keem and Young Thug.
