I had the distinct honor of speaking about Cake Therapy at the recent Jamaica Observer Food Awards Seminar. It was inspiring to learn from individuals who are doing incredible things in and through food, and who continue to demonstrate resilience, creativity, and innovation in their work. I especially enjoyed seeing so many remarkable women represented in the room. Women lift economies, strengthen communities, and drive meaningful change, and it was powerful to witness that leadership on display. The conversations sparked exciting possibilities for collaboration and partnership, and I’m looking forward to what comes next.
