BATTLE OF THE BANDS SPOTLIGHT: @jaguar_undies 📝

“I am a singer/songwriter from San José, Costa Rica, aiming to blend concert music traditions with modern folk and rock. I studied songwriting at Interlochen Arts Academy, and am now studying composition at CMU. I enjoy reflecting on my own existence and place in the universe in my writing, and find ways to understand myself better.”

LIVE.LOVE.LIFE - EP OUT NOW

In October, I had the opportunity to collaborate with @eleanor_anderson_studio and @radardance, composing music for Eleanor’s exhibit Color Block at @visartsrva. I was immediately drawn to her work—a kaleidoscope of color and texture, beautifully abstract and vibrant.

I’m extremely grateful for the experience; it pushed me to grow as an artist and step outside my comfort zone. Poles 1-5 and Silver Lattice are now on all streaming platforms, give them a listen! Link in bio.

(Yes, I know both tracks appear on different profiles on Spotify, I’m working to fix that lol)

What a night! We are so grateful to have been included in this collaboration and completely energized by the process of working across disciplines to create Color Block: In Motion. A huge thank you to @eleanor_anderson_studio for trusting us with her vision, to @sour_alien for helping us build this world with his original sound score, and to @visartsrva for hosting and funding the entire thing. And, of course, thank you to everyone who came out on Friday night to witness this convergence of big ideas. Our hearts are full!
