Festival overhead lights are being installed on Main Street! ✨

From 5th to 15th, crews are installing 30 strands of overhead festival lights across 10 blocks…600 bulbs total! These lights will also color-activate for holidays, bringing a whole new look and feel to Main Street in Vancouver, WA.

The Main Street Promise infrastructure project is nearly complete, and the overhead light installation marks another major milestone in the largest investment in Main Street in over a century.

And it’s not done yet! Additional lighting elements are still to come. STAY TUNED! 💡

🧗 Sendership Spotlight: Samuel

April 2025: Samuel heard about Senderships through @source.climbing in Vancouver, WA. He applied. He got one. He’s been putting in work ever since.

“I really want to be on American Ninja Warrior, and the rock climbers always seem to do really well…I love climbing and I have a really good teacher at the Source. My skills have improved and I can now climb a 5.8. I’ve been working on climbing the cave in the back area of the gym. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to rock climb at the Source!” – Samuel #vancouverclimbing #climbingnonprofit #PNWclimbing

Thank YOU! to the more than 45 businesses that have participated in our recurring Bricks & Clicks Grant Program made possible by the City of Vancouver.

This grant helps businesses boost their storefronts—through signage, lighting, outdoor spaces—and grow their online presence. We’re so grateful for their partnership in keeping downtown vibrant!

🪨 Pimpsqueak v8/7B

Pimpsqueak is my first outdoor v8 send at the end of a three day back to back climbing sesssion. A very compression based climb that felt a bit unique to what I normally climb indoors. The energy it took to squeeze my chest and legs for so many attempts left me drained after three days of spamming attempts.

I started climbing a year and a half ago as a replacement to working out but became obsessed with the sport. I owe a lot of my progression to the tight knit crew strewn together at the @source.climbing gym. A lot of credit to @source.climbing for having a healthy gym culture to support 20 of us coordinating a trip hours away

A big thanks to everyone that showed up to Leavenworth and helped me send. And a special thanks to…

@camerongedenberg
@spencerdhoward75
@crubelt
@rtropia8

…for guiding me through beta and more importantly spotting my falls keeping me from landing on my neck the dozen times I fell off this thing.

As a longtime climber, this space has held a special place in my heart for years 🧗🏼‍♀️

I’m so honored to collaborate with @source.climbing in Vancouver, WA and to share one of the ways I stay #MissAmericaFit. Climbing has built my strength, confidence, and resilience in ways that go far beyond fitness!

It’s also a powerful reminder that movement can be accessible. As someone with a disability, climbing has given me a space to challenge myself, adapt, and feel empowered.

And at the heart of it all is the community; encouraging, uplifting, and always there to cheer you on ✨

Come check out the climb with me!

We went to Smith:

Puking out of cars, tamales out of the back of a woman’s car, Connor crack climbing and me just crying, a river crossing, having an epic, bloody fingers, sending an open project, suboptimal gear, a last min multi-pitch… and all around fun time.

“Oh.” -my dad
