HOUSTON: Plecia Nearctica will be released this week on the TAPAS app! I am sorry that it did not come out today, as a comic artist whom is still finishing my final classes as a college student is hard😵‍💫😵‍💫. They got me making sculptures guys 😭😭. I hope you enjoy the last slide, it’s my first illustration utilizing the two of them together. I hope you love this mysterious new girl as much as me and Houston do!

HOUSTON: MUSCA DOMESTICA is officially out on the TAPAS APP!!

I know it’s really late so I kinda messed up on when it would actually be ready but even so, I AM HAPPY TO SAY THE FIRST CHAPTER IS UP!! The link will be on my story and in my bio!!

P.S.- Thank you to everyone who helped make this project possible. I wouldn’t have ever had the confidence to make this story public for everyone to see. That first doodle I did three years ago changed the projection of my artwork forever. I am proud to stand by this project and I hope you guys can too.

Logline: “In 1994, rural Oregon there was a girl who had an obsession with finding beauty within the deceased, she put her obsession into insects and preserved them. However, with friendship forced upon her, she couldn’t help but preserve them too.”

Tune in on @tapas_app to read June 21st!!🦋❤️

HOUSTON Chapter One: Musca Domestica will be released this Sunday, June 21st.

In 1994, rural Oregon there was a girl who had an obsession with finding beauty within the deceased, she put her obsession into insects and preserved them. However, with friendship forced upon her, she couldn’t help herself but preserve them too.

HOUSTON will be available to read on TAPAS! When it drops I will place the link in my Bio. I just want to thank everyone who has helped me along the way to make my silly doodles of a girl with big eyes into this entire world. God I’m so nervous but I can’t wait to see what everyone thinks!

Senior, Sophomore, and Freshman year of college, wrapped up with one of the events I looked the most forward to, sidewalk chalk art fest!! I teamed up with my friends for every single year (except Junior year but we don’t talk about Bruno)

Regardless of being unsuccessful winning a prize as an undergrad, I will have the rest of my life to participate as an alumni. I always have it my absolute best and tried coming up with something better than “last year”. There won’t be a last year anymore but this event will forever live in my heart. :3

Super mega shoutout to Lucas for being as dedicas and as passionate as me with bringing the record player to life!!!!
