Last pit stop of my last big race of the year. BT Epic is always hard and without getting much fall training done because of football, it’s even harder. Glad I had @elik.mtb and @jam_on_trails to ride with for most of the race. Lucky not to have any mechanicals or flats and only had 1 minor cramp. Had beat my last time by over 20 minutes. Lots of @carbsfuel and salt stick chews to get me to the finish. Congrats to all the SSXC teammates for finishing this monster. Thanks to the all the @south_side_xc crew for taking care of me. And big shoutout to @hildebrandt22 for working with me around football to keep me in shape. 1 last NICA race and it will be time to put in the off season training.

Weather messed up some plans but the race organizers did an amazing job with what they had to create such an amazing race! Thank you to my coach @lauren_mtb from @homegrownathleticshq for preparing me for this race, my team @south_side_xc, and my mom for all the support!

This will always be one of my favorite races, and I am so glad I got enough points to upgrade to Cat 1. Thank you @cmileski_coaching and @south_side_xc for preparing me for this event and weekend of racing. I cannot wait to see what mtb racing will bring me next year, now onto the fall of gravel —>
