Promoting Liberal Party Values amongst the youth in Melbourne’s South East

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Please come and join us at the Italian Festa in Carlton this weekend!

It’s a fantastic celebration of Italian culture, food, music and community, and a great opportunity to catch up with neighbours, friends and local traders.
When: Saturday 17 October, 11am to 10.30pm, and Sunday 18 October, 11am to 8.30pm
Where: Royal Exhibition Building and Grounds, 9 Nicholson Street, Carlton
Entry: Free, no booking required
I’ll be there with Jess Wilson, Victoria’s Opposition Leader, and we’d love to see you.

Jess was travelling across Victoria on her Fresh Start Tour, listening directly to families, small businesses and local communities about what matters most to them. Her message is simple: after years of rising costs, growing debt and pressure on essential services, Victoria needs a fresh start, with a government that listens, delivers and puts people first.
Jess and the Liberal Nationals team have a positive plan to reduce crime, ease cost of living pressures, support local businesses, fix our roads and restore confidence in Victoria’s future.

Most importantly, Jess wants to hear from you. Come along, say hello, and share your views on the issues affecting our community, from safety and housing to local services and the future of our neighbourhood.

Being of Italian heritage, the Festa reconnects me with my roots, my family’s story, and the traditions that shaped me. So join me for this Festa 🎊 !!!!

Melbourne must never normalise crime.

Knife crime, assault, robbery and home invasions should never become part of everyday life in our city.

Every Melburnian deserves to feel safe—in their home, on public transport, in our shopping strips and in our public spaces.

We must not look the other way. We need stronger leadership, practical action and a clear message: crime will not be tolerated in Melbourne.

Ps. This knife 🔪 was found in the surrounds of the State Library and has now been handed to Victoria Police 👮.

It is time for a fresh start.

Vote Rafael Camillo for Melbourne.

Last weekend, it was an absolute joy to MC the 80th Anniversary Celebration of Liberal Women's Council of Victoria - Berwick Branch 🎉
Attended by long-term local Party stalwarts, candidates, local State MPs, South-East Young Liberals, family and friends, the theme of the event was “Honouring our past, building our future”. It recognised the dedication and contribution of generations of local Liberal women to election campaigns, the Liberal Party and the wider Berwick community, and had some of its records on display.
It was a fitting celebration of 80 years of history, service and commitment, while looking with optimism towards the future.
Thank you to the current committee members for making the afternoon such a success!

Catching up with locals before the footy fever kicks off! 🏉

It’s clear from our conversations that locals are ready for a Fresh Start.

We’re listening, we’re talking about the issues that matter, and we’re taking those concerns straight to the community.

Knock, knock! 👋 Hello, Narre Warren South! My team and I are out door-knocking and letterboxing, hitting the pavement to hear directly from locals about what matters most to them.

Today, the biggest concerns we’ve heard are hoons, rising crime, a lack of police and failures from local council.

It was great to share the Liberals’ plan to recruit 3,000 more police and re-open police stations so our community can feel safer.

Thank you to everyone who opened their doors and took the time to have a chat. We’ll keep listening, keep fighting and keep showing up.

Can’t wait to hear from as many locals as possible between now and November! 💙
