I was looking through my last royalty statements and ran the numbers against what I actually need to buy and produce in the studio and the numbers completely flabbergasted me.
120k streams got me £9.00 from PRS and $20.67 on SoundCloud. SoundCloud won’t even let me withdraw the money because their minimum threshold is $25.

The £9 I got did not even cover the cost of the monitor pads sitting on my desk. It's so ridiculous.

I was looking to buy a Neutrik XLR cable today and realised my PRS streaming royalties couldn’t even cover the cost of the wire.
