Being a teen right now is a lot. School, friendships, social media, figuring out who you are... it adds up fast. 💛

Lindsay and I are hosting a Coping Skills Workshop just for teens ages 12 to 15, with a little help from Nalu, our certified therapy dog.

It’s a relaxed, judgment-free space where teens can learn real tools for managing stress, build confidence, and connect with other teens who get it. No pressure to share more than they want to.

🗓 Sunday, October 25, 3:30 to 5:30 pm
📍 space, Wheat Ridge

It’s coming up in less than two weeks and spots are limited! Sign up at spacednvr.com or tap the link in bio.

Meet the faces behind our new coping skills workshops @spacednvr

Lindsay and I met in grad school, spent years working side by side as child and family therapists, and ran some of our favorite groups together with our therapy dogs. Somewhere along the way we also became the kind of friends who wear fake mustaches and matching bucket hats.

Since going out on our own, we’ve really missed running groups, so we’re bringing them back! We’ve teamed up with @space to offer workshops for kids (ages 6 to 10) and teens (ages 12 to 15) here in the Denver area. Our goal is to create a safe, supportive, and yes, a little bit silly space where young people can build real coping skills and connect with each other. And of course, Nalu will be there too.

Sign up at spacednvr.com or click on the link in my bio. We can’t wait to meet you!

Colorado parents… indoor season is coming. 😅

@spacednvr is NOT your typical indoor play space — kids can paint on the walls 🎨 + take classes that help with those BIG emotions.

Save this for the first “we NEED out of this house” day. 😂
