Here are some pictures that were taken during yesterday's week 3 festivities of the holiday nostalgia rides.

As you can see, there were more vintage enthusiasts than usual and as I've mentioned in the last post, they came, saw, and conquered.

Nothing the photographers who were also on guard as they were taking footage of some of the vintage enthusiasts posing and struting their stuff, they were living it up as usual.

During this ordeal, I ran into the lovely @marina_rubinnyc and by the looks of her blue dress and long gloves, she was très chic to the core and stole the show.

We did some posing and selfies on the side and while that was going on, a bunch of photographers took footage of us and the results were priceless.

Joining the fray was the appearance of @arsenicoldlace and looking fabulous as always, she was able to pose with such grace and wonderment that she was the center of attention.

Onboard the 1930s R1-9 subway cars, the photo shoot continued and with the same result, not only were we able to convey a center of attention, but embodied the aura and glory of old New York.

Thus, after ten minutes of this, we sat down and observed some of the average New Yorkers who wanted to take our pictures since they lived what we wore.

Speaking of fun and glamour, as an added special bonus, I have included some of the footage taken last week for week 2 of the rides by the likes of @vpvisuals_cosplay and @alexmtzphotos.

For those photographs, they are some of the best of the best ever produced in my opinion and they're etched in my memories in the days, months, and years to come.

Like what you see? Stay tuned because there's more footage coming your way this week and for those who haven't rode the 1930s R1-9 subway cars already, next Sunday is your last chance before they go to sleep until next year.

From 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. from 2nd Avenue on the "F" line to 96th Street on the "Q" line, come hang out with us and you'll never know what to expect.

Until then, happy trains, vintage, and swing dancing, foremost and always.

Happy old New York as well.

So it goes.

Photographers @stanleywong716, @shootfirstnyc, @ericstrausmanphoto4events, and @spacemanfromthepast took these wonderful photographs of me during this past Sunday's week 2 festivities of the holiday nostalgia rides.

As I've mentioned in several posts, the use of color, lighting, and chairoscoro was in full display and while the majority of the background was reflective in the understanding of vintage, we gained the upper hand.

In other words, the posing and the use of emotions benefitted from the cause of vintage and how the vintage enthusiasts see through the machinations of their own selves, let alone their perceptions of reality.

While the photographers added a bit of spruce and gaiety in the process, the realism behind the footage taken was the cause and effect of what we have seen in ourselves and the ability to bring about the happiness of others.

Likewise, the defense of vintage and the glory of being the center of attention brings about the happiness of those who partook in the rides and making their own memories along the way, their uniqueness shows.

While some others had their own fun while expressing their own patterns of destiny which is the defense of their ambers, we have become part of the spectacle that brings about the happiness of the psyche.

Above all else, the photographs all form the basis of a new relationship between the aura of the individual and the process of seeking a new way of life for the vintage enthusiast and the quest to conquer the unknown.

@renaginz also took such wonderful footage of me and while the photograph was in black-and-white, it came out flawlessly and once again, the use of the background and lighting was in full force which combined style, precision, and technique.

@spacemanfromthepast was instrumental in the creation of photographs that turn themselves into canvas that speaks from the human heart and envelope from the human experience that seeks the beyond.

His posing of me and some of the others which include my new friend @colbyturner97 all focus on the greatness of the festivities and the celebration of old New York which will live on for generations to come.

More footage coming soon.

So it goes.

Had a great time on the much quieter vintage trains last Sunday. The snow storm the night before meant fewer people in attendance but we still had a great time riding the less crowded trains, and because it was so cold I finally got the chance to wear this insane 20s fur-lined coat from @_sistersvintage_ . Reel coming soon! Thanks to @dannyfeeneyy for being a great riding partner and picture taker, and to all the photographers for their great pics, as always @vpvisuals @bobplantphotography @spacemanfromthepast

Enjoy this photograph that was taken by the great photographer @spacemanfromthepast of me posing in great refinement during this past Sunday's week 3 festivities of the holiday nostalgia rides.

As you can see, I was posing in great refinement while at the same time, I was being myself which I do always.

Noting the crowds in the background, I can sense that the moment was invoking a sense of sentimentality, yet conscious of the emotional valor of what others were feeling.

In a sense that my resolve was credited as the photograph was taken, my sense of sanity was exposed and it provided me with lots of comfort and vice versa.

Also, given the fact that I was enjoying myself and making lots of memories along the way, the adage of old New York was in full swing.

Nevertheless, I told myself that no matter and no less, the true spirit of vintage and dressing up will never go away.

Eccentricity personified, it gives hope to the hopeless and fills those who question their sanity.

Thus, @spacemanfromthepast has done that and as long as the holiday nostalgia rides create new moments to remember, so can the masses who glorify their own similar viccissitudes.

For now, enjoy the photograph and stay tuned for a reel that promotes week 4 of the holiday nostalgia rides which is this coming Sunday.

Yours truly will be there and in a different wardrobe.

Updates will be available by the hour, through the hour, and within the hour.

And of course, accompanied by background music for your enjoyment.

Until then, happy trains and vintage, foremost and always.

Happy swing dancing as well, foremost and a day.

And so it goes.

2023 was an interesting year. It was full of challenges, fun, and new experiences. I’m looking forward to 2024, honestly. I think I’m hitting a stride creatively and I’m excited to watch it shake out next year. Here’s some of my favorites from 2023.
