We are so proud to share that our Mushroom Chocolate Mint Tea has been named a 2027 SOFI Award Gold Finalist @specialtyfoodassociation in the Tea and Coffee category, and earlier this year a 2026 Good Food Awards Finalist @goodfoodfdn too. Two recognitions that mean the world to us. 🍄☕️
This one is cozy, comforting and one of our most loved blends. A decadent peppermint patty flavor that just wraps you up, with reishi mushrooms for immunity and stress relief, cacao shells for brain health and mood, peppermint for gut health and rose petals and cinnamon for mental clarity.
Our reishi mushrooms are grown locally by the incredible family owned @lonestarmushrooms right here in Houston. 🍄‍🟫
Available in travel size if you want to try it first and honestly this season is the perfect time. Nothing quite like Mushroom Chocolate Mint on a cozy fall evening. 🍂

Montrose is basically old Houston and new Houston living on the same street.

You have some of Houston’s best restaurants, coffee shops, bars and very modern homes and then you turn the corner and suddenly there’s a 100-year-old bungalow under these HUGE live oaks.

That’s Montrose.

And here’s something I think is pretty cool: Montrose was developed in the early 1900s as one of Houston’s first upscale residential areas.

Avondale dates back to 1907.

Yes, BEFORE River Oaks.

Some of Houston’s prominent families were buying multiple lots here to build large homes. Developers were planning beautiful streets, landscaping and alleys to keep utilities and services out of sight.

Basically, Houston luxury real estate before we called it luxury real estate.

And you can still see so much of that history today.

There are Craftsman bungalows, historic mansions, old carriage houses and gorgeous tree-lined streets mixed with contemporary homes, townhomes, galleries, restaurants and coffee shops.

It shouldn’t all work together but somehow it does.

And THAT helps explain the price tag.

Of course location matters. You’re minutes from Downtown, the Museum District, Rice and the Medical Center. You have the Menil, restaurants, nightlife, art and culture all around you.

But there’s another piece people sometimes miss.

You can build another beautiful house.

You can build another luxury development.

You cannot build another 100+ year-old neighborhood in the middle of Houston.

The land is limited, the location is prime and the character took more than a century to create.

And this is why I always say Houston real estate is SO hyperlocal.

Two homes can be a few miles apart, look similar on paper and belong to completely different real estate markets.

Montrose is the perfect example.

My Etsy shop was pretty quiet for a little while. It was 🦗when I turned vacation mode off after our summer trip 😩 But thankfully there’s been a little upswing in the last couple of weeks - thanks to everyone who ordered! These are the prints I’ve been shipping. Just a reminder that there are still real humans behind many of the shops on Etsy and we do a little happy dance when you order something! #etsyseller #gallerywallideas #houstonphotographer #etsy #wallart
