I can’t believe you, I gave you my heart
I don’t wanna see you, you broke my heart
All my patience, I see all your faces
Beauty is sacred but on you it feels wasted.

“I never understood the phrase ‘it’s lonely at the top’ / until I scaled the mountain all the way up ‘till it stopped.”

Huge shoutout to @_katieegrace_ for planning Garrett’s early birthday surprise. It was an amazing show, and I’m glad I got to tag along!

We will be highlighting our seniors until our Senior Meet on Friday!

First up is Garrett Spangler! Garrett is apart of both the cross country and track team.

His favorite event: 10k

His favorite memory: My favorite racing memory was from conference last year after my surgery because it was just an all out gut race and those are the races I feel like I thrive in the most.

Almost 3 years since I’ve started lifting and I’ve finally hit the 1000 lb club. 355 lbs for squat, 275 lbs for bench, and 420 lbs for deadlift. Massive shoutout to @rafael_salas.25 because I would not be where I am without him. My thought process in the 3 years has changed from a chubby kid who wanted to simply be skinny to me now, the person that wants to see how much of a freak I can be. We’ll see where the journey goes from here.

My first collegiate meet, who would’ve thought l’d be an actual college athlete. Shoutout Hank, Garrett, and Brian for convincing me to join, I wouldn’t be waking up at 5:00am without you guys. I can’t wait for the rest of the season! Also enjoy a surprise photo of Garrbear eating a banana.
