🌟 HUGE shout-out to Wayne Billings — the incredible owner of Holstein General Store and Spanky's! 🌟

Due to an electrical system update in our building, we’re without power today. But guess what? Wayne and Lori showed up yesterday with a powerful generator so we could keep our fridge and freezer running and our products fresh. 🙌💡

That’s just one of many ways Wayne has supported us since day one. When we opened our store, we had zero retail experience. But Wayne was always there — teaching us, guiding us, introducing us to suppliers, and sharing his wisdom every step of the way.

There are no words to fully express how grateful we are. ❤️

We once saw a post that said “Wayne and Lori are the pillars of our community.” We couldn’t agree more. They’re not just business owners — they’re the heart of Holstein.

Wayne, you’re not only a trusted partner — you’re a wonderful friend with a truly generous spirit. Thank you for everything you’ve done for us and continue to do for so many others.

With heartfelt thanks,
David & Carol

Let's talk brisket.
Smoking: This is a favorite for barbecue, involving cooking the brisket at a low temperature (around 225-275°F) over wood smoke for many hours (7-18 hours, depending on size and smoker temperature).

Did you know that Wayne smokes the brisket for sandwiches@spankysbbqflesherton and @holstein_general_store multiple times a week? He sells sandwiches in both locations... and they don't last long when they are available!

Snap a pic if you're lucky enough to get one! Craving something else? Share it while tagging Spanky'sBBQ or Holstein General and The South Grey Chamber for your chance to win a weekly $50 gift card!

🔥Competitor Spotlight🔥

Spanky’s BBQ is back and gunnin’ for all the glory at their 3rd Ribfest!
This year, they’re firing up the flavor with not one, not two, but THREE bold sauces:

🥤Root Beer

🍁 Maple Hickory

🌶️ I’m Soooo Bad Hot BBQ

💬Their BBQ motto says it all: “Where the smoke is sweet, and the meat is Spanky’s.”
Get ready to feast, folks — Spanky’s isn’t playin’ around in 2025!
