Spartans 2026 Uniform Reveal

This was one of my most challenging and favorite projects to have worked on. Working through logistics, location scouting, and all the in camera work all taught me amazing lessons in organization and time management.

I would love to personally thank every single one of the 16 performers who took part in this but I have no doubts people will tag them again in the comments. You guys are incredible and this show was phenomenal start to end.

To the staff who helped me coordinate back to back media days and help me select the members for the shoot I cannot thank you enough. Your support and willingness made this happen just as much as the rest of us!

Collaborating with each section individually and coming up with different movements for the choreography was really special. Each performer had something to offer and seeing it come together in real time was so fantastic.

I’m super thankful for everyone who supported this upon release as it quite literally made me cry. I’m so happy I was able to be creative and produce something more complicated on my own!

Shots from the vault, 2024 Spartans Edition. This was my first season of DCI in general let alone media and I had no idea what to expect when on the road. I had just bought my first DSLR a year prior and was so excited to start photographing people. I learned so much this summer, shout out @sal.larkins.media and @ooga_booga_photos for being apart of the first media team with me!

Last July 4th, Funky Karnaval had the privilege of playing alongside the Spartans! 🥁🔥

For some of us, it brought back a lot of great memories from our own DCI days — long rehearsals, summer tours, parades, drumlines, and that feeling you only get when you’re surrounded by drums.

Years later, getting to share that energy again with the next generation was pretty special.

Definitely a little trip down memory lane… and an absolute blast! 💥🥁

From Hicksville to World Class! 💫
What an incredible summer for these two. Fresh off graduating from Hicksville High School, Bianca P. spent her summer performing on the world-class stage in the color guard for the Spartans Drum & Bugle Corps!
Making this journey even more special, fellow Hicksville High School alumnus Alejandro G. served as one of her instructors this season.
This snapshot was captured right outside Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis following Bianca’s final, unforgettable performance of the summer. Now, Alejandro is bringing that world-class experience right back home as he kicks off his first full year as the Director of the Hicksville High School Color Guard!
So proud of both of you for representing Hicksville with excellence. The future of this program is brighter than ever! 💙🤍
