Flashback Friday #fbf : Garage Training….tent in summer, living room posterior chain, bike, throws, slams, jumps, neighbors, lights sometimes, pitch black, “nah I ain’t Fuc&ing with that,” “na fo-real my back broke,” 405+ from multiples, rack pulls, “who broke the light 👉🏼,”…..it started early April ‘20 and ran until ‘21. The #wendyschickenbiscuit meant more than just what it is. Good Stuff, and thank you to those on this, plus so many more!!!!! #fts #ftsroots #pumptofts #ftsathlete #fts4life #athletes #garagegym #ftsogs #morethanacoach

Events of life…WE (yes me too still) line up our lives to always compete and play. We forget some of the finer points of what we do. Concerts, Graduations, Beach stops, hang out times with family & friends….just life’s moments. Sacrifice for what we compete in…but also cherish the moments we compete to have a great life. Good Stuff!!!! #fts #ftsfamily #ftstrained #athletes #sports #life #mindset #moments #cherisheverymoment #performance #speed #strength #power #compete

Whole Video will be on YouTube and link is in the Bio. It’s a little look inside of one of my huge REGRETS I have in my sports life. Listen, bc it may help. Listen, bc as a competitor WE ALL get emotional and don’t look inside first. We tend to 👉🏼 instead of 🪞. Please #FTSfamily and friends take a listen and watch when you have a few mins. Let’s have a week!!!! Well all things in life there is a cycle that is more difficult than anything to swallow. Today FTSfamily lost one of their’s. Jenkins Hershey Paltos @living_life_redd and I held him while he went somewhere better. Where he can run, play, bark at other dogs like a maniac, and just be a dog. Jenks was a PUMP Legend. Every single person knew him. He came to the gym with me every day. He has never left my side his whole beautiful life. I could never ask for a more loyal companion or unconditionally loving creature. The OG FTSfamily from the garage knew Jenks well. Any visit inside to the bathroom was accompanied by a friendly mauling. More than a number of my athletes cared for him if I was on the road or traveling. Always funny stories in the aftermath. You see Jenks was awesome and difficult sometimes. He was named after my good friend Mike Jenkins whom passed 10 years ago this November. My Jenks…loved his family more than anything. He protected them no matter what. He gave kisses, purred when he got rubs, snored when he slept, licked incessantly on occasion, showed his tummy to be scratched, AND was known as the puppy dragging the 120lb Kb around only a few months old. I know he’s with me. I know he will always be with me. But I’m human and I’m sad, and it stinks I don’t have my buddy. His humans miss him and his Demi may miss him the most. Show your pets love FTSfamily. Give them extra love tonite and send a hug to them from me. As always I wish good to all our FTSfamily and appreciate your thoughts always. Parents…I get it your confused. This does that, that does this. This costs this, that costs that. The conversation is the same with all. I’m sorry if that offends you, but it’s true. Everyone is NOT the same. Experiences are not the same. Cultures and success are not all going to be the same. Not blasting anyone or saying things are done wrong…what I am getting to…plain and simple…NOT every training facility does it the same. Accept that!!!! A parent or athlete’s decision making process MUST accept that. Make your decisions based on what YOU/Family need…but DON’T lie to yourself and say the results and experience will be the same. Accept this, and be ok with it. Not every facility is made or built to sustain everyone!!! Those days are gone…trust me I was a part of the last one…as were two of our other coaches. That place for ALL is gone and dusty. Build your decisions, understand your acceptance, make it happen. Recap…Business started ‘05 “PUMPs” -Paltos’s Ultimate Muscle Performance & Speed. ‘10 Stand alone Facility was Built PUMP CrossFit & Performance. Adjusted ‘14 to PUMP Strength and Performance. Why not do it again in ‘15 to simple PUMP Barbell in which case lasted until ‘20!!!! Then the Vid hit…FTS was created. Why all else quit, we funneled athletes in and out daily. I was scrubbing mats, pads, cleaning equipment every hour…bc the world thought it was ending. BUT our beginning #FTSfamily needed to stay ready to perform…so they did!!!!! Late ‘20 we moved back into a facility only to be out by 5/1/21 (landlord was a 🍆) and into our home now, where I plan on keeping us for a long time. Every time we had a move, upkeep, turf put down…FTSfamily members came to help. This is a training facility…that I used to say is based on performance results…and honestly it is Sooooooo much more. As I finish vacuuming and cleaning…a quick gratitude to all. On days I wanna ☄️the 🏰on 🔥 I realize I do it for my athletes and my family. Let’s have a week!!!!! Good Stuff!!!! @foundation_training_systems @pump.scp @williamssport @morrissussexsports #FTSfamily #fts #foundationtrainingsystems #strengthtraining #speedtraining #performance #speed #power #nutrition #conditioning #sport #football #baseball #lacrosse #basketball #soccer #softball #wrestling #hockey #fatloss #training #monsters #BAbs #morrissussexsports #buildfromthegroundup
