7am on tournament day. Two teams haven't paid, one partner dropped, court 3 has a hole in the net, and the schedule lives in a spreadsheet only you can read.

BVCN was built by people who've run that morning.

• Players register and pay in the app, straight to your Stripe account
• Pools and brackets generate themselves, including double elimination or a format you build
• Players check themselves in, and you can assign refs for pool play
• Running behind? One tap pushes every remaining game back
• Set cash prize splits and they follow the final standings

Run events in Vancouver or anywhere else? DM us and we'll help you set up your first one.

I'm sitting at a cafe, feet planted overtop weathered wooden floors, the paint scuffed from a thousand muffled steps, some perhaps when this was a home, when shoes stayed at the door.

I'm surrounded by chipped brick walls rising above this tiny rear patio surrounding me like a well remembered hug. I don't know what it is, but i know Toronto bricks when I see 'em.

There's a girl sitting behind me, who I haven't talked to in 20 years when we shared elementary hallways. Still don't know if I'll say hi.

Anyways, I'm rambling, but you know the feeling when the 'where' swells up and you're now trying to plant yourself on a surfboard of memories that's pulling you way beyond the present moment?

Toronto will sometimes do that to me, not always, but sometimes. None of these photos I want to share have anything to do with Toronto, but they certainly exist in the nostalgic corner of my brain.

They're some of the very earliest photographs I ever took that truly taught me the power of being present, seeing the cinematic in the normal. Looking back with a more mature eye, I feel proud of myself for these. No motives, just a desire to capture and save a moment.

1. Summer weekends at Katie's cottage.

2. Two of my roommates in Montreal having a passionate conversation during a party; Belgian and Quebecois french colliding.

3. Night-time psychedelic board meetings at Katie's cottage.

4. My brother in chaos.

5. My very first cat Spooky. He couldn't come with me to Vancouver, so my roommate brought him to Europe, to be an outdoor cat. One day he went outside and never came back.

We still play like kids here in Oaxaca — being creative and silly (with some adult content).

The first pics are from our last fashion show; the rest are from our first rap battle.

I can't post the video of me rapping (to protect the other participants 😇), but the reactions from the crew give you an idea of how I did 🎤🎤🎤🎤🎤

That time of year when I start thinking about planning adventures like this.

Mamiya 645 Pro TL // Gold 200 - quickly becoming my favourite backcountry kit.

Just dilly dallying through this amazing life 🌸

Some random snaps from the past weeks- pool hangouts with mis amores, cuddles, impromptu Mexico City trip, my apartment in construction (and looking increible), dance parties, sunsets, volleyball, all the aminals, good heartfelt conversations and today- contentment. I really love my life and I feel blessed I can say that and mean every word of it. 🦋🩷
