She was a great playmate, and couch buddy, even though she towered over everyone. Her gentleness was perfect for all of us. The last year was getting rough for her, especially the last 8 months or so. It was so hard watch her not living the life she was meant to live, but in the end, I know she was content and ready to move on. I hope we gave her the best life. #selflessselfies #24for24 I could easily quadruple the number of clips, but these capture the spirit of the past year. I still deeply miss the loved ones weโ€™ve lost, but will still celebrate those who surround me. Not sure why my brain drifted back here today, but Iโ€™ll embrace it. Here I am with my shorties on the day I finished up graduate school. It wasnโ€™t easy getting a masters degree while serving on active duty, being a husband, father and training in combat fighting sports, but it can happen. Earning the MBA was rewarding. It provided me a sense of security and a foundation to secure a solid future for me and my family. However, I truly canโ€™t say that I did it for those reasons alone. I was fueled and focused by these two little humans. I wanted them to see and understand that most things can be done if you choose to do it. I wanted them to find inspiration, not solely from the degree itself, but from the effort I invested in earning it. As Sienah works through her first year in college and Isaiah caps off his undergraduate courses, I hope they both continue to choose the paths that arenโ€™t necessarily the easiest, but the most beneficial to them and their futureโ€ฆ #liverelentlessly #noglorytome #uplift #goodvibes #nocomfortzone #beinspired #stayrelevant #motivation #beconsistent #thisis50 #fittestinthecarpoollane #highereducation
