Day 4 was all things water at Camp LAYA! We started our day at our field trip to the @floridaaquarium, which was completely sponsored by them 💙 back at Grace, we had an epic showdown with our color war and water balloon fight!

We are excited to welcome Greg Rusch as our full time director of South Florida Wesley! Greg has already been at work here tasked with kicking off the ministry and we are thrilled that he is now joining as here full time with a heart for ministry.

Greg previously served at Grace at Lithia for over 20 years, where he impacted countless lives through ministry and leadership. We are grateful he is beginning this new chapter with us.

Greg and his wife Cindy have two children, Derrick and Emily. Derrick is currently a student at Valencia and Emily is a graduate of Florida State University. With their kids out of the house, the have plenty of room to spoil their dog Jeremiah.

Soon Greg, Cindy, and Jeremiah will be making the move closer to the school, we ask that you keep them in your prayers during this transition. We look forward to the work God has in store for us. 💚💛

Big update for our Grace family ❤️

I’m grateful to share that I’ve been reappointed for another year here at Grace at Lithia. These past 3 years have been incredible, and I truly believe God is just getting started with us. I’m thankful to keep walking this journey with you all.

At the same time, we also have some bittersweet news.

After 20 years of faithfully serving our church, Greg has accepted a new role as Director of USF Wesley. We are so proud of him and excited for this next chapter in his calling.

And if we’re honest—it’s hard. Greg has been such a big part of our church family, and his impact will be felt for years to come.

But we trust this: the same God who has been faithful to us is still leading us forward.

We celebrate Greg. We support him. And we move ahead together with hope.

The best is still ahead. 🙏
