Massive thanks to Cyndi Parrett Wagner (introducing me in pic 1) for a wonderful welcome to her Redbud Tree House Concert Series in Indianapolis, where it was a joy to see a few familiar faces in the audience — the very lovely Kim Stagg, who with her late husband Bill hosted us both at their Free Range Concerts series in Indiana in 2015 and at their home in Colorado in 2018, and Sam & Dee Carman who organised a concert for me at the Unitarian Church in Danville, Indiana, in 2016. Also great to meet Jon & Anita from Maplewood Stage Backyard Concerts, who will be hosting the great Michelle Shocked @mshockedrox next Friday 25th — do get along to that if you’re in the neighbourhood! Equally huge thanks to Steve Peck @speck1557 of Hickory Notes fame & his wife Carol Paddock for kindly letting us stay in their house while they were away (and leaving a sweet welcome note plus two of my albums on the “Now Playing” stand), and to fellow musician @gregziesemer who was in the audience and gifted me a couple of his CDs (pic 4) — Martin @cacophony_cottage @happystan34 has already ripped them to his phone playlist so we can listen to them on the road. Looking forward to playing Wisconsin Singer/Songwriter Series Mequon WI near Milwaukee TONIGHT, a 3pm show at @skokielibrary Skokie IL TOMORROW (Sun), Harmony for Mayo Concert Series at the Mayo Clinic Rochester MN Mon, Zion United Church of Christ via @musicsuite408 Peru IL Thurs, @dekalbpubliclibrary DeKalb IL Fri, 1777 Dupont House Concerts Minneapolis next Sat, & the tour continues through 7 Nov, with a short UK run to follow in the 2nd half of Nov. See link in bio for info on all shows (tell your friends & please book in advance if you can). Thank you so much! #RedbudTreeHouseConcertSeries #tour #concert #livemusic
