What did I learn flying the @go.flare.global Line 2 in Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland back in July 🇨🇭?!?

- much better launch
- lighter
- shorter lines
- much more playful, easier to roll
- shorter, intuitive brake travel
- insane speed & dive
- flares for daaaaaayssss

What is different from LINE to LINE² ?

× Much shorter brake travel for a more agile and precise feel
× More responsive to weight shift and brake toggle inputs
× Higher brake position for best glide, making launches even easier
× Predictable, clear stall point and confidence inspiring like all FLARE Parakites
× Similar glide performance with a more dynamic character
× More dive and energy in turns
× More pop, speed and feedback through maneuvers
× Barrel rolls feel more intuitive, predictable, precise and snappier
× Shorter lines create a more compact and connected feeling
× Honest communication with clear feedback from the wing
× Adaptive winglets on sizes 15 and 17 for improved roll stability
× Powerful flare with a very defined stall point
× Mini Ribs help the wing stay in ground effect longer during swoops
× More intuitive and easier for speed riding
× Overall, a more direct, playful and refined evolution of the LINE design
× Sheathed Dyneema lines for fewer tangles

Anyone else fly it yet? What was your experience? Whose considering adding it to the quiver?

Ask me anything! I'm not an expert but I will answer what I can.

Enjoy! Thanks Beni @speedflyingschool it was rad to rip!

For people who are concerned - this was back in July before the rule change about where you can swoop here changed. Thanks Lars!

How do you land your speedwing with crampons on?

Feet up, slide in? Or run it out?

Is this the best style?

Fierce = SpeedKite under steroids but you feel safe from the launch to the landing if you have enough space… 😅
