Happy Seamaster Saturday from the lanai.

Switched up to the mesh bracelet and it's been awhile. I'm liking it!

A pretty cool story how I got this bracelet. My good pal was at the Omega Boutique in Honolulu one day searching for a certain bracelet. The technician Alan is super knowledgeable about parts and loves to dig through the database. While looking for the other product he came upon this unreleased stainless steel mesh bracelet. This was in December of 2021. He ordered two and they showed up a few days later. No other boutiques had heard of this bracelet yet and it was not available on the Omegas website.

I am pretty sure my pal and I were possibly the first to have the stainless steel mesh bracelet by total fluke. Alan even contacted the NYC boutique who said they had never seen it either.

See last picture from my phone the day I picked it up. I don't think it was released on the website until the following March.

Anyhow it really changes the personality of the my SMP 300

Review:
https://en.orologieconomicimigliori.it/post/casio-edifice-efk-200-automatic-review

With the introduction of the Edifice EFK-200 series, Casio’s watch division takes a thoughtful step toward consolidating its offer of mechanical timepieces.

Historically focused on high-precision quartz modules and solar-powered technology, the Edifice line now integrates a classic mechanical layout.

The movement powering the watch is the Casio Module 5766, based on the architecture of the Japanese Miyota 8215 caliber. It is an automatically wound mechanical movement with manual winding capability via the crown and a seconds-stop function (hacking function) for precise time setting.

The choice of this movement ensures low maintenance costs and long-term ease of repair—key advantages for those entering the world of mechanical watchmaking without wishing to bear the expenses of complex in-house calibers.

Really loving the Glomar Explorer strap from @watchesofespionage paired with my Seiko 6309. I'm reaching for this watch more often now. The feeling the strap has on my wrist with the hook and loop reminds me of wearing this watch daily 35 years ago. Good stuff!

Have a great day! 🤙🏻
