Yesterday evening I participated in the making of a commercial with a Wes Anderson theme. By "participated" I mean I was, as per usual, super awkward, pretty much the entire time, and I will be happy if I helped but cannot actually be identified in the final product. When we had to pretend to silently talk I think I said "I feel so awkward", "watermelon", and "peas and carrots" about 270 times. I meant every word of it. I am glad to have had the experience but I don't think I'm cut out for that kind of thing. I spent most of the time taking pictures and looking longingly at the sunset through the window silently praying I was just out of the frame. I met some more fabulous people though, which I always love, and walked away with peanut M&Ms, which I also love.

3 years ago I did this photo shoot. Just about 7 weeks post op brain surgery.

I felt so different modeling for the first time after having brain surgery and trying to readjust to life again. Being a queen warrior is something that I struggle with everyday.

The battle of having to survive everyday becomes a burden.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But then I remember how much I have survived and why I fight so hard every single day, to show you all, that it’s possible. No matter how hard it is.
