This weekend I had the pleasure of attending the screening of The Lure of Ponies: A Spellbound Attic Mystery at @museodeljuguete. A brilliant piece all around, with twists and laughs encased in a mesmerising display of stop-motion animation, capped with a q&a by director Beck Underwood herself. Already eager for the next one!

Open to all ages, the film explores the secret life of objects and overlooked things. Inspired by the animations of Jan Švankmajer, the Brothers Quay, and Ladislas Starevich, director Beck Underwood writes, "My hope is to bring humor and energy to my animations as well as embracing the intangible spirit life of the inanimate.” We hope you'll join us for this unforgettable stop-motion animated feature film!
