POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

The @shredster_chase Memorial Shredfest held at Purple Heart Skatepark on October 10th was such a vibe!

The rain stopped just enough for us to get some skating in but most importantly a beautiful heartfelt message from Chase’s mom Rene who shared Chase’s unforgettable stories about life, love, skateboarding, and his personal struggles with mental health that he alone endured…

Saturday we skated in honor of Chase @shredster_chase Garrison and his family donated Chase Decks, Chase Shirts, Thermos, a Complete Deck, Food & Beverages all for the love of Chase and for our entire skateboarding Community that we have here in Tucson.

Thank You Garrisons 🙏

October marks 1 year since Chase lost his battle with mental health illness and we lost our son/brother/uncle/friend. In honor and remembrance of Chase Garrison @shredster_chase our family is hosting a remembrance of life celebration. Come join us in honoring, remembering, and celebrating Chase as well as your loved ones lost to mental health illness and suicide. Learn about the mental health crisis, hear Chase’s story, honor Chase and our loved ones we’ve lost, and celebrate life. There will be food/drinks, gift bags, throwies, raffle/prizes, Chase decks, a scavenger hunt, and an art contest (rules on flyer). Bring a photo of your loved one lost to mental health illness and suicide. Lets celebrate our loved ones we’ve lost and the ones that are still here, enjoy each other’s company, and watch the amazing things these skaters can do on their boards and the sport that Chase loved so much. Please like and share this post, and follow @shredster_skate_coalition on instagram, and you can see Chase’s skateboarding videos and bloopers on @shredster_chase on instagram. Hope to see you there!

This morning, while at the skatepark, someone took pics of some trashbags that were left by us from last nights BDAY event that had well over a 100 ppl in attendance.
This person then sent these pics to someone else and said that we left a mess with a bunch of trash there etc etc…. 😒

Okeee Dokeeeee…. Let me tell you something squirt…..

For the past three years, since I been going to that park, I personally have been the ONLY ONE to come by there once a week and literally clean up after everyone sweep, blower, rake…. ALL OF THAT!!!
Infact, the day of the bday event I went there at 5:30 am to clean so everyone would have a pleasant experience etc…

So next time … instead of taking pics of trash and complaining about nothing…. why not extend a hand and DO THE BETTER and pitch in … then next time …… You might just get invited ….

But until then … enjoy the video of two grown ass men cleaning up after all you youngunz…..
