We’re taking the Forest of Arden to wine country. 🌿🍷

After our two-week run of As You Like It at @darcellexvplaza , we’re heading just 40 minutes outside Portland for one final, one-day-only celebration at Ponzi Vineyards, wine sponsor of our entire production!

On Sunday, September 13th, join @RoseCityStage , @Ardenportland , and @ponzivineyards for an intimate four-course vineyard lunch presented by the culinary teams of Arden + Ponzi, paired, of course, with Ponzi wines.

Then at 2:30pm, sit back among the vines for the culminating performance of As You Like It—the play that inspired Arden’s name—with Oregon wine country transformed into our very own Forest of Arden.

And one more special addition to the afternoon: acclaimed British actor and As You Like It Assistant Director Macy Seelochan will join us over lunch for a conversation about Shakespeare, her career on the London stage and screen, and her experience bringing this production to life.

Food, wine, Shakespeare, and one last Sunday of summer in the Willamette Valley. Your ticket also helps support Rose City Stage Company and our mission to bring bold, accessible classical theater into the heart of our community.

We’re taking the Forest of Arden to wine country. 🌿🍷

After our two-week run of As You Like It at @darcellexvplaza we’re heading just 40 minutes outside Portland for one final, one-day-only celebration: As You Like It: A Vineyard Finale at @ponzivineyards !

On Sunday, September 13, join @ardenportland , Ponzi Vineyards, and Rose City Stage Company for an intimate four-course vineyard lunch, presented by the culinary teams of Arden and Ponzi, with paired Ponzi wines. Then sit back and enjoy the culminating performance of As You Like It among the vines—our own Oregon version of Shakespeare’s Forest of Arden.

And there’s one more special guest at the table: Macy Seelochan. @macyseemacydo —assistant director of our production and acclaimed British actor whose credits include Shakespeare’s Globe, the National Theatre, and BBC’s Riot Women—will join us for an intimate lunchtime conversation about Shakespeare, performance, and bringing this production to life.

It feels particularly full-circle for all three of us: Arden takes its name from the Forest of Arden in As You Like It, Ponzi is the wine sponsor for our upcoming downtown run, and this one-day-only vineyard finale brings it all together around a table—with great food, great wine, and Shakespeare among the vines.

Your ticket also helps support Rose City Stage Company and our mission to bring bold, accessible classical theater into the heart of our community.

What better way to spend one of the last Sundays of summer?

Sunday, September 13 | Ponzi Vineyards
12pm lunch | 2:30pm performance

Day 2 of Official Launch Week of my book An Artists Manifesto. If you are tagged it is because I admire you, your work, your art or your written voice. My goal is 40 reviews on Amazon.com by Monday November 6 2023. I’m asking people to read a chapter (or listen to one via audiobook) and take two minutes to write a review. This book aims to be a catalyst for change, taking on issues like mental health, the soul, drugs, sex, love, gender. If you aren’t afraid to think critically and actually enjoy critical thinking, this book is for you! #booklover #booknerd #booklaunch #visualart #grateful #gratitude #soul #spirit #manifesto #millennials #essays #changemaker #changeyourthoughts #culture #critique #artist #artistsoninstagram

Sorry Marvel. DOTT did it first. But I'm giving it to you for free.

(Always wished I had done a better job on this project as director and writer)
