🚨 SPICEJET IS THIS HOW YOU TREAT YOUR PASSENGERS? @spicejetairlines

My flight was scheduled for 9:45 PM and kept getting delayed to 11:30 PM, 2:30 AM, 3:10 AM and finally 3:55 AM. Hours of waiting, exhaustion and frustration and then came another nightmare at the boarding gate.

✈️ My entire 15 KG CHECK-IN ALLOWANCE WAS UNUSED. I HAD NO CHECK-IN BAGGAGE.

Yet I was stopped for carrying my handbag with my laptop and a small trolley bag and asked to pay ₹3,000 for approximately 4 kg of excess baggage.

The staff's response? Discard your belongings or don't board if you don't pay!

My laptop is essential. Am I supposed to throw away my belongings at the airport? Even after hours of flight delays, I was put under pressure and told they wouldn't be responsible if I missed the flight.

The behaviour of manager Mahesh Kumar was extremely disappointing. I'm sharing this video as evidence and requesting a proper investigation.

❌ No adequate assistance. ❌ No water or service in the flight ❌ No empathy or reasonable support. ❌ An unexpected ₹3,000 baggage charge.

I understand cabin baggage has separate weight limits, but passengers deserve transparency about charges and respectful treatment not intimidation at the boarding gate.

MY DEMANDS: ➡️ Refund my ₹3,000. ➡️ Investigate the staff's conduct. ➡️ Explain the baggage charge and recorded weight. ➡️ Address the repeated delays and poor customer service.

I urge senior management Mr. Ajay Singh, Chairman & Managing Director of SpiceJet, to intervene in this matter. I demand a refund of ₹3,000 and a formal investigation into the staff's conduct.” look into this matter and provide a proper response. Passengers deserve better.

📢 Share this post so other travellers know to keep their baggage receipts and flight-delay evidence.

New Delhi: A heated argument broke out between passengers and SpiceJet staff at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport, according to a video going viral on social media

The clip shows travellers confronting airline personnel at the counter while CISF personnel stand nearby. A staff member is heard telling passengers, “SpiceJet sasta hai, isiliye aaye ho aap” (SpiceJet is cheap, that’s why you came), which appears to have escalated the exchange.

Passengers raised their voices and pointed fingers, and the crowd later began chanting “Shame on SpiceJet” Security personnel tried to manage the situation as more people gathered around the desk. The reason for the dispute is not clear from the video, but the tension inside the terminal is evident
