📖👀 Besides writing, I think the question I get asked most is where do I find all the books I read?

Besides being blessed with endless skilled indie author friends, I use bookstagram to find my next great read. These are just a small sampiling of many pages I look through depending on my mood and what I want to read at any given time.

Spring is here and I’m very much happy about this. Give me all the sun, always. Winter was giving seasonal D and I was getting a little worried LOL. I do not like winter, I am a summer girl. ☔️ April showers: a book that made you emotional - Don’t Cry For Me by Daniel Black. The book hit way too close to home

🌷Petals: a book with a stunning floral cover - Can’t Get Enough by Kennedy Ryan.

🌊 Flourish: a book that exceeded your expectations - Mrs. Wiggins by Mary Monroe. I was apprehensive about this book. Boy did it push my hairline back.

🐝 Buzz: a book with all the hype and lived up to it - Love Radio by Ebony LaDelle. Y’all keep telling me and I didn’t listen.

🧺 Picnic: a lighthearted book for spring - How The Plot Thickens by Joanna Kimber. Such a cute book with magical realism. Yes sir.

🌱 Sprout: a book that started slow, but got better - Death Of The Author by Nnedi Okorafor. Not going to lie I almost DNFd it in the beginning because I wasn’t sure where we were going. But, baybeee it was so good.

💫⭐️Love from my Bestie⭐️💫

I’m on my second year here on bookstagram and to this day, it amazes me how I’ve managed to resonate and make connections with some of the most genuine people ❤️🩷

And this particular gift comes with a backstory (one that involves me not knowing who it came from and being convinced I had a cyber stalker 😂) which makes it that much more special to me.

Because now I get to say to @spiceracksandpaperbacks and @kenyasterlingg “Hey remember that time I thought that gift was from a stalker so I hid it at the back of my shelf in case he came looking for it?” (Like that was going to help😂)

Dumpmas day 17: A Christmas Themed Bookish Scavenger Hunt 🎁🎄❤️📚

Slide 2: Red, Gold & Green. I still have not read this book 😅
Slide 3: My favorite Christmas carol is Silent Night. I had to get this book off of my daughter’s bookshelf.
Slide 4: Tapping in with source is definitely giving a character of nature.
Slide 5: I read this book every year. My comfort book/movie. Actually my favorite movie of all time 😌
Slide 6: idk if this book is giving one sided love. The synopsis is low key giving it. I only chose this one because the title says Mistletoe. Only right.
Slide 7: listen Blue got on my last nerves but he is for sure endearing.
Slide 8: Well if you’ve read this book then you already know 💅🏾 If you haven’t then you’re missing out.
Slide 9: I mean the cover is so fire but this book is thick af. But yes the cover catches my eye every day.
Slide 10: listen any and I mean any S.A. Cosby needs to get picked up for something. Like be for real.
Slide 11: Things really aren’t funny to me. I really don’t rock with Rom Coms. But Jasmine is good at what she does and Geoffrey had me weak.
