From early internet forums and digital commissions to 3D footwear and oil painting, @spicy.obj, known has built a practice that moves freely between physical and virtual worlds.

We look at the artist’s early relationship with online culture, the origins of @happy99.online, and how dolls, nostalgia and digital image-making continue to shape her work.

A ten day exhibition, featuring 18 designers.
This year, we told our designers: “Honor the mundane.”

Seeing is a creative act.

We challenged each designer to observe their surroundings and identify moments of beauty within the ordinary. Group Show 3 presents 18 milieus—18 slices of life. While each contribution differs in subject and aesthetic, they share a permission of approach: the permission to treat the ordinary subject as one deserving of artistic representation.
