Somehow found myself up at Watkins Glen for @hookedondrivingne season ender thanks to @needmorecoffeeplz and met more of the Hooked On Driving extended family. Had a blast seeing a new part of the country, new track, new faces, and some truly fantastic cars. Hoping to make more trips up that way, but the season continues down south. CMP with @hookedondrivingma next month and VIR for Friendsgiving a few weeks later! As always, there’s more on the site.

Upstate Women’s Car Club teamed up with Hooked on Driving for an incredible track day at Atlanta Motorsports Park with Vredestein Tires! 🏁 A few of our amazing ladies even stepped up and lent out their own cars to help make the experience possible. This is just a small taste of what UWCC is all about. We love bringing women together, sharing our passion for cars, having fun, and giving back to the local car community. 🖤 We’re so grateful to be part of opportunities like this and can’t wait for the next one! #upstatewomenscarclub #cargirls #greenvillesc #fyp #carsofinstagram

Proud of all the ladies and friends that attended last weekend’s track event with @hookedondrivingma at @carolinamotorsportspark! 🏎️ We had a great mix of newbies and returning drivers and it was such a pleasure to watch everyone improve all weekend! We are feeling the withdrawals this weekend though! 😩 If you missed this event, you must attend the next one with us at NCCAR on September 12th & 13th! #upstatewomenscarclub #cargirls #womenwithdrive #womensupportingwomen #trackdays

Just getting back from CMP last weekend. Got to test a few things on the new @fdfraceshop control arms which @asmotorsports.us shipped super quick to dial the car in searching for more grip. No more eccentric bolts finally! Had some buddies drive the car and did some coaching for @spicycatracing. Thanks @hookedondrivingma for putting on a great event. Slushies are dope!

Now that I finally have 2 seconds to get some pics and videos together….this weekend was an absolute blast!!! Went to CMP for my first ever track weekend hosted by the awesome ppl at HOD and spicy cat racing for getting me my much needed Hans. Started in the novice group and by mid day was cleared for the “B” group! Super stoked about that. The RTR put in some serious work! Very pleased with how it handled being absolutely beat on for hours in the heat on back to back days and taking it like it’s a Sunday drive to church. Also very proud of my tribe that was all there with me! Huge shoutout to my boyfriend, Josh for adapting and helping everyone every second he could. Can’t wait for the next one!

Skid Mark Racing, a team competing in the ChampCar Endurance Championship reached out to us with a special request: a set of shocks with fixed ride height, OEM-style springs, and no damper adjustments. ChampCar uses a point system to classify its cars. Cars exceeding 500 points receive penalty laps. The 350z campaigned by Skid Mark Racing already sits right at 500 points. The rules state that shocks and springs may be modified without any point penalty, provided they lack ride height or damper adjustment, and the springs remain the same shape & diameter as the original springs. Since none of the off-the-shelf lowering springs for the Z platform were stiff enough, we opted to track down custom springs. These springs were roughly 30% stiffer than the stiffest lowering springs available on the market. Additionally, we switched to a linear spring, instead of a progressive lowering spring. Next we built a set of shocks to match the 14k / 12k springs. These shocks have custom built Shafts with no adjustment, fixed ride height and top hats with rubber bushings instead of our normal spherical top hats. The result is a 0 point suspension package that will perform above and beyond what a oem style shock and spring can deliver.
