✨ AUGUST 🥀

a slow reading month but a big one!

- started my new job at a doggy daycare 🥲 getting paid to play and cuddle puppies (and some kitties) is amazing (also incredibly relieved to have been able to get a new job before the end of the year!)
- finally caught up on the Undone series and now i’m DYING for undone (i WILL be going straight to the closest bookstore on Oct. 20)
- got to sob through @dayledritch_ wedding with my favourite people. truly nothing like seeing your friend marry the love of her life 🖤

May every month feel like birthday month 🎂 (part two)

33 laps around the sun surrounded by flowers, books, and some of my favourite humans. i may be biased when i say taurus season is the best season but this time of year is when i always feel the most at peace. i rested more, spent more time outside, went to a greenhouse, enjoyed dinner on a patio, and stopped to smell the flowers (literally).

i’m still overwhelmed with all of the sweet messages and surprise mail i received from all of my long distance besties 🥹 y’all know how to make this girl feel loved and a lot less lonely. i’m so grateful for this corner of the internet and all that this book community has given me.

here’s to more growth and glimmers this next year. it’s butterfly season, baby 🦋
