GAH! Freshman year! I am so thankful for all the connections I made this year. All the wonderful people I met and I cannot believe I won’t see them for 3 months💔💔 I think college truly rekindled my love for performing and you realize that nothing truly is that serious and you are just there to learn, have fun, and perform. Alice by Heart, you will forever have a place in my heart! Cheers to 3 more years of love, performing, and learning💗💗💗💗💗💗

Goodbyes are really, really hard. I called my mom in tears a few weeks ago because I didn’t really understand why I felt so upset about moving on from this semester, and she said that this is the first time she thinks I’ve ever been truly happy with where I’m at. And I think that’s really true- It’s so hard to let go of something you love so much, and I love this. I love these people, I love these experiences, and I love this kind of love.

That being said, goodbyes are not forever. Whether you’ll be back next fall or are graduating and moving forward, I hold so much love for each one of you and that type of love does not fade with time. Junior year kicked my ass, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I would go through this year again and again if it meant I got to spend it with these folks. Happy grad week, happy last day of school, and I am so proud of all of us <3
