❤️🇸🇻Basically In the Heights🇩🇴💙

To start out, thank you so much to @breananicole17 / @triple_threat_threeatrics and @hispanicmusicfestivalpitt for giving me the opportunity to represent my community, especially in times like we are in right now.

This show was THE dream show, every since I found out there was a dominican lead in a show, I know I had to make it my life goal to play this role, but it is truly shocking how quickly I achieved that goal. This show truly does appropriately represent latinos from across the globe, from those who are first generation college students to those left with the remnants from their ancestors.

Thank you to my parents who raised me to never be afraid to show my culture to anyone, thank you to Breana and Dale for trusting in me playing Usnavi, thank you to Isaac and Frida who helped make this happen and for representing out people year round for Hispanic Heritage Month, thank you to Kya for supporting me so much in theatre, I know it’s me being gone a lot, but I appreciate it truly.

Thank you to Skilyn, Matthew, Aspen, Wensdae, Olivia, Emi, Anthony, Laura, Carmen, Emily, Katia, Jackie, Dale for being such beloved cast mates, If it weren’t for many of you, I truly would’ve lost my head in the production of this show. Finally one massive thank you to the cast, put, and crew who made this show a possibility, this has been the best show I have and probably can be a part of, will never take for granted the past 2 1/2 weeks we had together.

Usnavi De La Vega will chill in the heights with paciencia y fe, and we’ll see what happens in the future

lowkey will prolly be another post with bts stuff from ith

🌀RIDE THE CYCLONE🌀
It has truly been such a blessing to play the roll as Jane Doe. As a little junior in highschool I never saw myself reaching the potential of playing such an amazing role my sophmore year of college. The pressure of this role has not only been a privilege but also an amazing experience.❤️🫂

Goodbye to Ride the Cyclone! 😭 It was a very special show with very wonderful, talented people, with an incredible bond. It was a honor and a joy to be your Karnak. “Your lucky number is seven. You’ll soar to great heights. Be sure to ride the Cyclone!”
