📍Chicago A construction sign in Chicago has been altered to protest Flock Safety’s automated license plate reader cameras. Supporters say the technology helps law enforcement investigate crimes and locate vehicles, while critics argue it allows broad vehicle tracking and raises concerns about privacy, data access and oversight. What do you think about Flock cameras? 🎥 Clip by @spiderrbyte #Chicago #FlockSafety #DeFlock #ChicagoNews #Privacy

Abandoned Casino closed in August of 2025 due to the facility relocating. It's insane how fast this place is getting destroyed but luckily we went before it got too bad. Shoutout to everyone who was a part of this post and adventure, and shoutout to the random idiots who slashed our tire and put a nail in it while we were inside exploring. Here's to a good rest of the year of 2026 for our group's exploration. 🕸️💟✝️✨#urbex #abandoned #casino #light #exploring

📍Chicago A portable electronic sign was seen displaying explicit political messages overnight in downtown Chicago. The messages referenced both ICE and President Trump before the sign was later changed. The sign appeared to be a temporary construction or traffic board placed along a sidewalk near the elevated tracks. It is unclear who altered the message or how long it remained on display. 🎥 Clip by @spiderrbyte What do you think about this kind of message being put on a public sign? #Chicago #DowntownChicago #ICE #Trump #ChicagoNews

The now demolished abandoned house at 1805 N Campbell Ave. was made as a multi-family house. The house was built in 1885 and had a very high historical value as time went on with original Chicago architectural design and beautiful curved features. The house was put through multiple owners with the recent owner being an 89 year old woman named Graciela Morgan. Between 2023 and 2024, CKG Reality Group put in a proposal to develop a building. With the beautiful house in the way of the development, the life of this incredible 1800s Chicago House would soon see its untimely demise as the City agreed to this proposal.   To push against this, Morgan went through multiple court battles with the house in which a real-estate contract fell apart. Details on these court appearances are still being researched but Morgan's house was in the line of direct demolition. And with ongoing loan payments to the bank to pay off the house, the real estate agents took control of the block and the area.   Eventually, the house was evacuated and abandoned in 2024 and then demolished in November of 2025 to make way for the proposed development: a four story tall residential building designed by Hanna Architects. Tragic stories like these are a reminder that we have a duty to document these beautiful historical homes and sites as the era of modernized buildings takes a firm grip in our residential areas.       The post here features pictures we took of every single floor of the house including the house itself and the basement living area. Each room housed a different family. Not much is known of all the families. But we do know that one of the residents first was Jorge from the letter found on that floor. We'll post a reel from here in the near future. #abandonedplaces #urbex #abandoned #decay #urbexphotography #lostplaces #urbexworld #urbanexploration #photography #abandonedworld #urbanexplorer #urbexplaces #abandonedphotography #explore #abandonedbuilding #forgottenplaces #urbanexploring #urbexpeople #urbanphotography #urbandecay #lostplace #forgotten #lost #urbexphoto #urban #kings #world #ig #graffiti #urbexexploration

Twisted memories all warped up in decay in this beautiful abandoned family house. This set continues the series for this three story abandoned family house. Even more history of this house will be shared in the last post. This set focuses on the living room of the first floor of this abandoned house. From the documents and letters scattered through the house, we learn that the house had once belonged to Ms Graciela Morgan. In the first floor, we see one of the letters by the resident of the first floor by the name of Jorge. The letter was addressed to Ms Graciela. More research on the full history of this house will be done shortly. #abandonedplaces #urbex #abandoned #decay #urbexphotography #lostplaces #urbexworld #urbanexploration #photography #abandonedworld #urbanexplorer #urbexplaces #abandonedphotography #explore #abandonedbuilding #forgottenplaces #urbanexploring #urbexpeople #urbanphotography #urbandecay #lostplace #forgotten #lost #urbexphoto #urban #kings #world #ig #graffiti #urbexexploration

Second floor of a beautiful multi-family abandoned house sits in the busy neighborhoods of Chicago. The house served many families with each family living in one room each. The owners faced several infractions from this house and are still struggling to battle the court over this house. The set here focuses on the second floor. There are a total of three floors and a basement. The house is slated for demolition very soon and is being repurposed. The other floors will be posted soon... A huge shout out to @spiderrbyte @indydecay who explored this beautiful house with us. #abandonedplaces #abandonedplacesgermany #ig_abandonedplaces #abandonedplacesphotography #abandonedplaces_nyc #ontarioabandonedplaces #exploringabandonedplaces #abandonedplacesuk #abandonedplacesitaly #beautifuldecayofabandonedplaces #abandonedplacesaroundtheworld #beautifulabandonedplaces #creepyabandonedplaces #loveabandonedplaces #exploreabandonedplaces #abandonedplacesberlin #abandonedplacesingermany #iloveabandonedplaces #abandonedplacesworldwide #abandonedplacesbelgium #abandonedplacescanada #nudeinabandonedplaces #abandonedplaces_germany #abandonedplacesofinstagram #abandonedplaces_portugal #abandonedplacesaustralia #discoverabandonedplaces #abandonedplacesfrance #artinabandonedplaces #discoveringabandonedplaces

Wondering the halls faceless in a forgotten living space in a basement. Each room of the house served a different family and it was tragic seeing it all forgotten. The basement served as a separate space for one of the family members that used to live here. One can wonder where they are now. Drawings of children could be seen in one of the rooms along with the fridge and other items left behind. Each room will be posted separately. Each room in the once-habitable basement is now covered in black mold and other hazardous material. It was very reminiscent to being in the mold and rust infested Otherworld of a Silent Hill universe. #abandonedplaces #urbex #abandoned #decay #urbexphotography #lostplaces #urbexworld #urbanexploration #photography #abandonedworld #urbanexplorer #urbexplaces #abandonedphotography #explore #abandonedbuilding #forgottenplaces #urbanexploring #urbexpeople #urbanphotography #urbandecay #lostplace #forgotten #lost #urbexphoto #urban #kings #world #ig #graffiti #urbexexploration
