Spike Studio (@spike.htx) by Abigail Simpson is a multimedia studio focused on affordable, quality design + photography in Houston, Texas.

Reyes Ramirez (he/him) is a Mexican and Salvadoran writer, educator, curator, translator, certified beer server, and current Houston Poet Laureate (2025–2027), and the author of Cerveza Songs: Houston, TX (2024), an award-winning collection recognized by the Texas Institute of Letters for its design. (@nisabes)

Blake Leiker (@blake_leiker) is a Houston, Texas based street photographer whose work focuses on capturing the unusual and funny moments in everyday life.

Jesse Greene (@jessegreene_) is a multidisciplinary artist that focuses primarily on photography and abstract painting.

Pamela Powell (@pampowellphotography) is a Fort Worth–based photographer, originally from the Midwest, who blends digital and analog processes to intuitively capture quiet, often-overlooked moments—exploring themes of decay, persistence, and stillness—holding a BFA from Sam Houston State University, exhibiting her work in group shows, and recently expanding her practice with a 4x5 camera.

Robinson Lopez (@robbiellopez) is an Austin-based photographer and archivist with roots from Dallas to Laredo. His ancestry intersects Spanish colonization, White Southern settlement, Mexican revolution, and mid-century politics. Weaving together Anglo and Tejano identity, he uncovers how conquest, faith, and adversity answer the question, “How Texan am I?”

STATE OF FEELING ~ My debut solo exhibition. This collection was formed from lived experience, it reflects a journey of self-examination and growth. Rooted in photography the work has expanded into other forms, each piece shaped by a moment that felt sacred in its becoming.

It is so special to share it with you and I can't wait to gather around it.

Tell your friends, your family, strangers, lovers:

Saturday, March 14th | 4–9 PM
3550 Main St
Houston, TX 77002

RSVP + more info in my bio.
See you there xx

A moment for authenticity. @hey_imabigail took this photo of me. I don't usually post or like photos of myself alone, but this one feels so me. When I had a huge wall to cover, I chose personal photos that speak to me. My Italian-American New York roots, my love of food, and the places my family returns to again and again. (I did spare a few family photos under duress.) This is my approach to life and design. Be authentic. Real always resonates.
