It's easy as pie:

3. Click on "Download Video"
4. You get a 1080x1920 pixels video, ready to share as a Reel on Instagram, a YouTube Short, Pinterest or TikTok.

I'm adding a Pattern Poll feature on PatternShow! 😀
I think it could be a great way to showcase different colors of a pattern, or different designs in a collection. What do you think of it?
I'm now adding the poll question directly in the video to make it easier to publish it on Insta, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest etc.
I still have some work to do to make it easy to select the patterns, choose the captions etc. I'm hoping to have the feature ready for testing very soon. If you would like to be part of the testers, let me know so that I can give you early access to the feature.

There are 50 fresh blue patterns to discover on PatternShow! 🩵 💙 I've been working on a feature to group patterns by color to make it easy to find blue and red fabrics and wallpaper designs for instance. I'm also experimenting with a feature to make pattern collages to share on Pinterest and Instagram. What do you think of it?
This collage shows patterns from different artists, but it could be great with patterns from a single designer too I think. You just need enough designs with the same dominant color.

Wallpaper, unrolled! I'm working on a new unroll video feature to showcase wallpaper. It's the companion to the fabric in the wind video feature that is already on PatternShow. What do you think of it?

I'm adding a feature to search designs by color, and I'm doing a lot of experiments to automatically recognize the main colors of patterns. 🎨 It's actually harder than I thought as there is a lot of ambiguity in naming colors, especially when diving into specific shades like salmon, coral or tangerine. I will be sharing the results as I finetune the search by color feature, and hopefully it will soon give good results for many color names.
What color should I share next? Teal, grey, pink? Or something more specific like sage green or Aegean blue?

Save those instructions to make huge repeating patterns on Spoonflower wallpaper! The trick is to use the half drop repeat so that you can have a motif that can be up to twice as wide as a single 24 inch wide wallpaper roll. For those art deco crystal flowers for instance, the pattern tile is a vertical rectangle that contains the center part of 2 flowers: one on top, and one on the bottom. In the middle (vertically), the left contains the missing right part of the flower, and the right contains the left part. When installing the wallpaper, it is shifted vertically by half the tile height, and your flower parts are joined together to form huge giant jumbo flowers. Who needs murals when you have half drop? 😀

I had several sales of jumbo sized floral wallpaper that use this half drop trick. Have you already sold huge wallpaper or murals on Spoonflower or elsewhere? What kind of patterns was it?

The Art Deco Crystal Flowers wallpaper is available in 13 colors (it's always so hard to resist to make one more colorway!) and 4 sizes. You can try them all on PatternShow and buy them on my Spoonflower shop @spikyelephant

This fashion sketch by is one of my favorite mockups. It just got updated to make it possible to also choose the skin color and the hat fabric. Try it with your patterns! Which dresses do you prefer?

A preview of a new 3D mockup made by @clem.patterns for PatternShow! Do you also feel that mockups often look kind of flat? The folds, shadows and different directions the fabric takes on this tablecloth really makes the fabric feel real! What do you think of it?

Clémence and I are still making some adjustments to the fabric texture etc. but if you want early access to this 3D table mockup to try your patterns on it, let me know in the comments. I'll give you access to it and we can feature your pattern on it when the mockup launches.

And if you know anyone who would love a tulips tablecloth, please send them this post! 😊

Hi Everyone! I'm looking for wallpaper designs to showcase on room photo mockups. Do you have Spoonflower patterns that work well on walls? If you do, could you upload them to PatternShow and let me know which ones you would like to be featured? I can use photos of rooms in my house to showcase them, but of course if you have white walls in your place, it's even better to use your own photos. More variety, the better!
