Naka-Chin ( Joe Pogo Records Japan / THE ERECTiONS.

If you think I'm the only one slingin' records in CNY then you've been living under a rock. @joe.pogo records has been a mainstay in the Syracuse area since well before I started down this crazy path. Lots of great Oi!, street punk, and pogo out on his label. Reach out if something grabs your attention.

@spikytops at Studzilla Sep. '26. Part of the incredible Saturday night lineup this year. They're always great live. Watched from afar unfortunately bouncing back and forth to the booth. I've got their new 10" and one or two 7"s over in the shop (@brutesquadrecords) or you might be able to grab one from @joe.pogo Sorry the second song is cutoff.

This weekend's soundtrack. All relatively new pick-ups. I was especially excited to find that Strike Under to fill a missing hole in my Chicago section. Other greats. Several small label and self-released albums. I actually have copies of everything that doesn't have "Strike" in the title over in my distro shop @brutesquadrecords It's worth noting that there are some awesome bands in that UK Subs tribute including a couple that just played Studzilla last week.

Studzilla Punx Weekend Vol IV has come and gone. It was one for the books. Studzilla started as something that my friend Shawn and I did one time back in 2016… 6 bands, one day. I brought it back in 2024; 2 days, 14 bands, vendors, multiple venues. Its a lot of work. I have considered not doing it anymore due to stress levels and monetary constraints… but nothing has ever stopped me. I love punk. I don’t care what it takes from me because what it gives back in return is something I couldn’t live without. And i know i’m not the only one who feels that way. There are loyal punks that go to Studzilla every year. There are first timers that go to Studzilla. There are naysaying shit-talkers that go to Studzilla. But ultimately everyone has a blast, the bands kill it, the vendors are awesome, the venue(s) are sick. Thank you to everyone that came this year. I can’t wait to see you next year. @spikytops @thedroogettes @fuckyoustaypunkdistro @brutesquadrecords @icky.leather @casingdesignworks @pureheel @schooldrugsnj @ctepunx @steelbashersoi @badterms23 @scabgism @ctepunx @chargedyouth_ @urbanwastenyhc @payback_syr @
