What draws me to weddings is simple.

The people you love are gathered in one place. They are dressed up. They are present. They are there to celebrate you.

Because of that, it makes complete sense to document the day as it truly unfolds.

For me, editorial wedding photography is about capturing who was there and what actually happened.

It’s about noticing the small moments that might otherwise pass by. A shared look. A quiet laugh. A hug that lingers a few seconds longer than expected.

These are the moments that give a wedding its meaning.

Two brides. Two bridal fashion stylists. Three looks that couldn’t have been more different or more Ali & Colleen. And isn’t that the point? Which begs the question... why work with a bridal fashion stylist?

• They help clarify what you like and what you don’t.
• They narrow things down so you’re not buried in options.
• They know how to style it all together.

What do you think?

Happy 1 year + 1 day to this beautiful couple! They treated their family and friends to a weekend of celebration, beautiful views, and heartfelt toasts. Cara is already gorgeous (and super sweet) so our work was easy. From the Friday night welcome dinner to the Saturday waterfront wedding, her looks were fresh, fashion-forward, and true to her. ⠀
⠀
The weather was challengingly warm, so we kept her foundation sheer with just enough coverage to look smooth and glowy on camera. Taking cues from her natural beauty, we made her blue eyes twinkle and kept her curls real (and polished). ⠀
⠀
Wishing them a lifetime of happiness!⠀
