🔎New find in old west (my fav neighboor hood).

1. @spinbar.amsterdam expect a lot of pool tables, expect having to reserve them. Big bar, cocktails and good music
2. @combo.bistro.ams new restaurante in town, the best people working there, delicious food, good to go with friends vibe.
3. @vermut.ams loved this in summer and sitting next to the canal, very big place, good for aperitif
4. @vinfou.amsterdam a looooot of wines, fresh cool food and place

For @spinbar.amsterdam , we were commissioned to develop the spatial concept, lighting and custom furniture for a new analogue vinyl bar on the Ten Katemarkt in Amsterdam.

Located in a former market storage space of approximately 350m² - Spin brings together sport, drinks and music, combining a vinyl listening and record section with nine pool tables and a separate dive bar. The stretched layout is organised around the pool tables, with the main bar acting as a threshold between the entrance and the more dynamic pool area.

The interior is built around large spatial gestures and distinctive sculptural forms, drawing references from the 1960s through the 1980s. Stained oak, felt, linoleum, tiles and custom fixtures are combined with additional indirect lighting to create depth and atmosphere.

We aimed to find a balance between a approachable concept and a more high-end expression — creating a place that feels considered without losing the familiarity and comfort of a neighbourhood bar.
